For a "REAL" economy like eve´s we need better market tools.

Market Graphic 1
Market Graphic 2
Market Graphic 3

Timeline need to be scalable. Right now you can set it to fixed 10days, 3 months, 1 year. Real tools can be scalable on demand, letting you zoom in or out on the timeline.

- 2nd
Indicators: MACD, Oscilators, Bollinger Bands, Momentum, Stochastics, T3 Moving average, Volatility. The more the better. If customizable like real ones, Even better.

- 3rd
Candles

- 4th
Real time feed. I guess this one could be demanding on server side.

CCP, do this and you will make the trader profesion much complex, deeper, engaging, rewarding.

We do need better market tools, but it might actually be easier and better to add/change the API to allow for a simpler and better export and then use external tools (I'll call it Eve Market Mangler, though you could probably put the exports in a DB and use Business Objects) to do the analysis. To expand on this it might also be a good thing to add the ability to add remarks to basically anything that can change a wallet (see here for an explanation).

That said, actually changing market orders through an API is something I am really really against for several reasons.

Well I can agree we do need some tools I personally far as a package
I would say a hull moving average , volumeweighted macd, Stochasticmomentum , cycle brackets, Fibonacci retracement, Fibonacci extentions,
or better yet let us be able to just put this into ohlc and do the rest ourself :) As we all will want to use various tool..

I just need the data even if we would get just a daily feed not a constant feed. Trader nerd on deck :)

Any ingame tools need to be fairly simple to understand and use, even for those with no background in RL market analysis methods, statistics or sampling. (Although the in game graph functionality could use a bit of a boost with clear axis scales, labels, and whatnot.

That being said, having any and all information you have access to ingame available for API/CREST pull sounds like an excellent tool for those who want to use third party tools to enhance their trading experience.

I'd settle for a "remove outliers" button.

That would keep me from having to download the table and then running ANOVA.
