Hi,

Could we have another pass on production times?

Crius and Phoebe reduced production times on a lot of items, with the introduction of ranks and a whole host of production speed bonuses on various skills. For some products, most obviously ammunition, it is now possible to produce frankly absurd quantities very easily. This means that there is less capacity in the game for industrial players to be gainfully employed.

Could we have another pass on this with a view to dialing down the rate of production on some of the more broken item types?

hate to say it but it was intended for some of these items to get so fast to get new players into it...

not saying i like it but i don't see it changing

The base build time on small ammo is 5 minutes.

Obviously that comes down a lot with skills, research and other bonuses.

If that cannot be increased a little without exceeding the limits of a new player's attention span, then I think we may have bigger problems to deal with.

The short production times mean that the markets for these products are very easily saturated. I expect that will have a far greater negative impact on the ability of EVE's industry system to engage and retain new players than having to wait an extra few minutes.
