more likely they're complaining because they're not used to it. If most forget about it in a few weeks, then it wasn't really that big of a change. I'm not a fan of its larger size, as it requires me to make all my windows larger, but its really not that terrible.

Only if you had your font set the the smallest size pre Crucible, which would be amazing TBH.

I for one, actually enjoy the new font. Less likely to misread a letter in a system or character name.

I love the new font, obviously the threads mentioned were not decisive or it would have been redacted.

this patch has got to be a huge freaking success.

That would be true, except that the biggest thing that people are praising CCP for is also a more readable yet uglier font.

While this is indeed the best expansion since Apocrypha, that says a lot more about how bad the last few expansions have been than about how good this expansion is.

Fixing bugs and balancing stuff is infinitely preferable to space barbies (incarna) and isk fire hoses (incursion) and spacebook/farmville (tyrannis) and prettier planets (dominion.)

When they fix the economy, reinstate the QEN, and start using the word 'sandbox' again, we'll know they're back on the right path. Until then, the jury is still out.

I appreciate the work CCP did on this expansion. Y'all have been through the ringer. Cheers to you for your hard work.

This expansion is very good.

Very strong background changes. Scalable UI is what EVE has been crying for very very long time.

I hope time dilation will fix all lag in EVE, for always.

New font does not look enough 'sci-fi', but improves readability. My personal reading time is 50% better when I glance at eve screen, I instantly get the idea of what I see. Instead of going line by line and skipping half of worthless nonsense, which has no relation to useful information.

With larger UI and readable fonts I can let my eyes read through lore and countless storyline content. My eyes are stressed less. For which I thank that cute DEV who did it.

Finally, after 6 years, Caldari had their secondary weapons revised. Too bad that gallente got a buff too in this regard. Maybe one day caldari gun boats can become a PvP vessel, not just a 'waste of time and design effort'.

More balancing than ever, this is what crowd really wanted. Worst expansion I can think of was Empyrean Age or Dominion. CCP has done a good job. Congrats!

This post sums up why the 'best' work with DCM inc.

WARP DRIVE makes eve boring

really - add warping align time 300% on gun aggression and eve becomes great again

That's pretty normal. The patch day itself rarely generates any huge numbers — people are waiting to patch, are having early post-release issues — and they happen on Tuesdays, which are low-pop days anyway.

The real test will be Saturday and Sunday.

Not to mention all those Bots that need to be rewritten. :(

I know sometimes it's difficult to realize just how much you spend on incidental things each month or year, but seriously, EVE is very cheap entertainment compared to most things... If you are a smoker, smoke one less pack a week and pay for EVE, with money left over to pick up a cheap bundle of flowers for the EVE widow upstairs.

Fonts ? Bah people will get used to it and whine about something else.
FYI I re-sub another 3 months because of Crucible and I do hope CCP does fix MOAR sh1t rather than implement WIS.

We used to play in wormhole space, I can't imagine how happy wormholers are right now with the new corp bookmarks.

New corp bookmarks are just superb.

And also coming from someone who has been in Eve for around 7 years also (not on this toon tho) the new font is fantastic.
Very readable, well done CCP, great patch

This may be true but I have already spoken in game to 3 people who I have not seen in years and all of them told me they resubbed as a result of this patch. So while the online figures may not of increased yet it does appear to me at least that some are now returning to the game if only to check out the new stuff. All 3 that I have spoken to also had only mainly positive things to say about this patch their only gripe seemed to be with the new font :-/

‘No, this isn't it at all. Make it more... psssshhhh’.
