T3 usage by the empires

We have been using T3s for years in increasing numbers, however I don't think I've ever seen the empires using their own ships, certainly not during missions.

Its possible that as the ships are advanced designs they are reserved for special operations piloted by empire capsuleers. The question is against who? The pirates, the other empires or some unknown faction?

(the answer of course isn't that most of the missions were built before T3s were added so no NPC rats were built with that model)

The answer is that most empire navy operations are hidden from our view, most likely to keep us from screwing around with them.

We know from the descriptions of several subsystems the navies have their own T3 wings, and we know empire navy capsuleers are definitely a thing. Their Strategic Cruiser units simply aren't on display for us to see, similarly to how we know the Empires can easily field hundreds if not thousands of supercapitals but we rarely see more than one at a time from them.

As an aside, don't take missions to seriously when it comes to lore. As you said, many missions are old and outdated, or outright contradict lore from the start.
