If, as you say, Veers was sent in as part of our (yours and mine) Saviour's master plan, why would you want to go out und put him back in the barn?

In what bizarre world does "botting is a violation of the Code" in any way translate to "we indirectly support botting"? Aside from our ideological opposition to it, it violates the EULA and the New Order is pro-EULA.

Grow up. What's funny is how you want to stifle any voices opposed to yours on the forums and create a pvp free zone while in game you ram pvp down the throats of miners and haulers.

But then, no one ever did accuse code of lacking in hypocrisy.

While yes, your statements claim to be against botters, your actions are beneficial to them. You gank soft targets, and primarily aim for tears to put on the blog. Botters will not be those targets. Bots don't cry and bots are generally not soft targets. If a player starts whining in local about you attempting to gank them, that only makes you want to gank them more, again specifically targetting non-botters. By primarily attacking non-botters you are increasing the market share botters supply and in turn their income.

I make no judgement as to whether your failure to achieve the stated target of the code is by design or through incompetence, since retards like Nariz above start shrieking about the tinfoil, but to suggest that what code does is actually damaging to botters is laughable.

Cue angry codies whining about how much they hate bot aspirant behaviour, and how wrong I must be for insulting the precious code.

As a group, that's the aim. The blog is designed to be a place to ridicule people that cry. If the goal of code was the removal of bots, then the blog wouldn't exist as bots don't cry.

And to those stats there was no context. We know that a lot of bots were being banned very early on, so the stats may have been inflated with rookie characters in the 8 days prior to being able to use barges. The bulk of minerals pulled in by bots is from barges when a player get past the entry barrier of getting a bot past initial scrutiny.

Come on, we all know what code is about even if you'll say anything to fight your side. Code wants tears. The fun in ganking comes from trolling the crying carebears, not from watching a bot reship them return to mining without saying a word. The whole "bot aspirant behavior" element of code is just made up to make it sound like you've got some reason to be doing it beyond what is effectively light griefing. If you honestly think you are fighting against bots, you're delusional.
