EVE New Citizens Q&A

So all the info that's by default shown at the top left of the screen (system info, route and agent missions, for example) have somehow vanished. The icons remain, but when I click them while I'm in space it only highlights on & off.

When I'm docked and click the same icons, the info drops down and can be seen. It's a big hassle as I'm running missions and it's a quick way to tell # of jumps, sec status of the system, etc.

Anyone know a fix? I'm stumbling with this for 3 days now, cleared cache and verified my game cache (through steam)..

Thank you, but here's my problem. The icons show, but when I click them - nothing drops down. Thus, I can't see the arrows I need to press to get more info.

You have them all hidden

Click the icon and they should appear again.

They might show up jsut by another icon to the left (vertically aligned)

If you then hover over those icons, the drop down arrow should appear to the left of it.

In the picture I linked, there is one of the three selected, the other two unselected. When I click them, all that happens is that they turn highlighted or not. Nothing drops down, but it does show when I hover. A bit clumsy though, but it does work.

So still no text when I click them. I cleared all settings (yay tutorial messages) and cleared cache, to no avail.

You might want to try the manual clear cache & reset settings method.

The A and the Sun (circle) at upper left place on screen are icons to toggle the visibility
of the Route (A) information and the Solar System (Sun) information below these Icons.
Click the A. The 'A Route' will appear below if its not to see. And will disappear if you see it at the moment.
Click again this 'A' and it happens opposit (toggle function).
Same with the Sun and with the human body (third icon of an agent - appears if you accept a mission).

If the icons with text to their right are visible they show a white triangle to their left if you mouseover.
This triangle is again a toggle function. Click on it open or close the additional information for Route (A),
System (Sun) and Mission (Agent body).
If opened, mouseover the additional information text and you see there are clickable Hyperlinks,
which will show you enhanced information if you click them.

Especially the Agent function for missions (human body with hat on) is great. You get very good
information there about your misson goal, if reached or not, aso.

I had this problem today too, those tab are still functional, but they are just invisible, if you hover to the place where they are pop outs like "Current solar system" should be there.
i did cache clear and it seems it helped.

I think it might be possible that something is bugged or changed with in the past few months. Some times my route disappears on me and I have to toggle it off and on again to make it show.

In the past on rare occasions I would accidentally toggle it off and not know how or why. Now it seems to still be set on as I have to toggle it twice. Not sure if this is what you are experiencing or not but it's something that I've noticed in the past couple months.
