I wonder if there's any way to eliminate sec status loss when shooting 1. own fleet mates and 2. alliance members in lowesec.

Imagine, you're on a roam through null in a fleet of your fellow alliance mates, you warp around a dozen systems, find nothing, enter lowsec, nobody challenges you. You warp to a moon for a bio break, and while half the fleet is away, a few of you start messing around locking each other and shooting each other. So why on earth, would you take sec status loss and GCC.

Challenge each other to duels.

And there is a very good reason why you incur a security penalty when you engage fleet members (and are not in the same corporation).
Back in the day, it used to be possible to attack other fleet members without suffering any sort of ill effects. Some... "entrepreneurial"... players decided this would be an excellent way to farm kills. So they began to invite randoms into their fleet and nuke them.

With regards to alliance members and security/aggression mechanics... I'm not sure why it does not emulate corporation rules. But my money is on legacy/spaghetti code that the Developers are currently revising.

Perhaps if it was toggle-able, but in highsec alliances, corp only shooting limits potential awoxing to only your own corp if there's a bad recruit.

If it was alliance wide, any corp in your alliance recruiting any member could potentially awox your corps ships, even if no member of your corp had any part in their recruitment.

Just one more factor that would help discourage the formation of fledgling alliances in highsec.

But if alliance leadership could toggle it on and off, sure I guess.
