Hi if I assist my drones to a friendly dictor and he drops a bubble I guess the mechanic that causes him to become aggressed makes my drones attack him fix it thanks!

Bumping this, as important as "my fps has dropped 2.394 fix it CCP" and "my sound isn't working wait it isn't enabled in windows" is it's probably better to have real bugs and issues at the top where people can see it.

Thanks for posting about this. We are currently looking into it.

The first time I heard of the changes to dictor aggro was in the patch notes. Did this get tested by players before it was introduced? Did CCP intend to just drop this on us at the last minute?

It's probably the one rather big change to game mechanics from the most recent totally epic patch that seemed like it was old-style CCP ninja-nerf, with no regard for thoughts from active players. Any chance you guys can explain the need for this change and why it was dropped into Tranquility with so little, if any, notification?

This change is ridiculous and punishes the already heavily punished dictor pilots yet again.

Hell, we don't even get on killmails when we bubble, even though we're instantly aggressed!

I suspect not getting on killmails is why they made the change. that is the side effect after all.. to get on killmails you have to aggro the target. Well. now dropping bubbles aggros everything visible. Even if it is 300km away, you aggro that too. Even if they are blue to you.. you aggro those too. Even if they are in your fleet.. yep.. you aggro those too.

Note that warping to a bubble and getting caught in it seems to no longer cause aggro. So dropping delay bubbles works better now (though you have to be sure no one is on grid before you drop it so... nevermind.. delay bubbles suck too).

So now.. sure... you get on lots of killmails, but you lose your ship instantly as well.. because
#1 you can't jump through the gate anymore.. even if you were super fast to do so before anyone tries to warp.
#2 you can't cloak because anyone with drones out is now attacking you with them so you are targeted by 100 freakin' drones
#3 while you are thinking about what to do.. don't bother, you are in a pod now.

perhaps they could bring back being able to continue warp if you started warp before the bubble went up.
Or get rid of this crazy mechanic...

If the intent really was to put us on killmails.. that is a worthy goal. but it was done sloppily to just piggy back on the existing aggro mechanic very very sloppy.

I don't think you know how dictors work.
