so I was reading the stuff for the next patch and saw the link to the soundcloud for the new theme:

them remembering this old bit that was created

which ofcourse there are a bunch of others on youtube that could be added to the soundcloud, so all that would be done is a pilot can log in and jump on soundcloud and have all sorts of ccp/player eve theme music rolling if audio from youtube videos could be added

Hmm, the youtube vid you chose as an example actually is on soundcloud. https://soundcloud.com/star-stream/starstream-mad-eve-world
If you click on a songs name and then play them on soundcloud, it will continue to play stuff from the recomended list instead of the playlist they are in. If you play eve soundtrack files, it will continue playing eve soundtrack music. Songs about eve are commonly referred to as eve parodies. So if you start with anything from Permaband, you'll get to the ones by Starstream, Suas, Sindel and all the others.
Of course CCP could link their players' songs directly, but then again people already created dozens of playlists for that purpose and, as stated above, soundcloud's clustering algorithms do a good job as well. The problem with linking songs directly is CCP associating themselves with them. And since i've seen people getting their panties twisted because of "killing is just a means" already, just imagine what would happen if they linked something like "f*** goons".
