Any 03 players still here?

Have the same problem here, although my employment history probably wont show anything other then that I'm EXTREMELY stubborn in staying in my corp, I do occasionally get funny looks for it being broken and showing up empty

Fun fact about this char, it was well planned for release while I was playing the beta.
it was supposed to be:
Gallente - Intaki - Reborn
The "reborn" option gave a "please insert Jove unlock code" dialog,
and would not let me continue at all.

Still feel occasional annoyance at having this pre-planned char run into a bug on launch day, where I had the choice of selecting one of the other options, or not playing at all.


According to CCP this toon was created before employment histories were tracked so once I jumped out of my corp with zero history other than my own corp my beginnings were lost up till the day I joined a friends corp, I didn't realize I lost my employment history until I started getting a few "HAX" in local while I was piloting stuff a few month old toon should not be able to fly but never heard from CCP other than when I filed petitions to try and get my employment history repaired.


Wait seriously? I thought of doing that, but if i actually did, my char would forever show me as starting NOW instead of nearly 12 years ago?
that would be INCREDIBLY annoying.. WTF?



That actually sounds amazing!
Imagine the possibilities, you could pretend to be a clueless newbie flying around in something blingier than you should be, but in reality you're fully kitted out and insanely skilled!

I have a second scanner/miner account from 2003 that has 0 combat/employment history. I always thought about bringing him out for some fun but there may be value leaving it as is

I have created, played and loved a lot of characters in these years.
For some of them I happen to have recorded both the old and the new portrait.

Here is a picture covering 4 of them. 3 of those 4 earned more than 100B each on the Jita, Rens or Amarr markets.

It shaved about 3 years off of mine... which had it's uses after awhile. I think my employment record still leads people to believe this character started in 2006.
