Oh but wait, somehow everyone is always able to defeat 5 people so how did you really beat 5 people if everyone can beat 5 people? Like I said it's simple math and if you beat 5 people they probably weren't trained. Fleet defeats single players just admit it. Basically your claiming that everyone can defeat millions of fleets but it just ain't true. And if you want to fly manually then yeah its skill but if your gaining skills you can gain endless and defeat fleets and be this legend I speak of.

What are you even talking about? I said use TACTICS and PICK YOUR FIGHTS. That is how you win outnumbered. You don't expect to chansaw through fifty with ten, but you can take ten with five if you play smart.

Raw numbers are not the only story here. Ships, fittings, SP, pilot and FC skill, all of these things matter. Play smart, and don't expect to win every time.

Do you give ideas too? May i see some of them without reading an endless list of posts? I would love to see how they turned out. Your just saying the game doesn't need to change and NEVER will.

Irrelevant.

And no, I am not. I am saying that expecting CCP to hand you some kind of wtfpwn unkillable 'solo' ship is dumb.

Are you actually old enough to be on the internet unsupervised?

I've never used one but that's what I thought about jammers until I used 4 on one ship and jammed him the whole time. Maybe it's the same senerio in whatever way with target breakers.

I solo gangs. Every soloist worth his weight can take on more than one target at a Time

But I see you have no kills... Let alone solo

Your ideas are shite. Go play wow or something. Quit mucking up my evening reading

I may not have level 3 skills in everything and have bought plex and got myself blown up exploring a little but i could jam you like you had no ship. and Like I said, I'm playing the game the way it is...learning to solo and fleet. And I doubt You've killed anyone that tough because there's a lot of us just messing around exploring with no skills while all you brag about killing fleets upon fleets. And it seems CCP has already had my idea in mind I just gotta come up with how you can use target breakers with every ship because the reason why it's on a battleship is in my observation for the sake of the long duration to target someone but eventually you can probably have fair fights and solo as much as you want (super awesome total badass or not)

Like I said it's simple math same ships same skills same strategies = fleet wins which = not winning and because skills are limited.

I just looked through through the OP's killboard. It is both precious and sad.

Yige... do yourself a favor and let this topic die.

Instead... join up with a PvP group and LEARN from them. Pay attention to how they fit ships and how they move their ships

Here are some hints:

- warp core stabilizers will not help you fight another player. They are strictly designed for avoiding combat.

- you need 4 things on ALL combat ships...
---- a propulsion mod like a Microwarpdrive or Afterburner (to fly fast and control a fight)
---- a Damage Control (to boost your resistance against damage)
---- tackle equipment like a Warp Scrambler and Stasis Webifier (to prevent the enemy from escaping and control the fight)
---- weapons (self explanatory)

Also pay attention to the bonuses of a ship and its slot layout.
Some examples:

- Daredevils have a powerful Stasis Webifier bonus. If you do not fit a Stasis Webifier then you are wasting the potential power of the ship.

- # medium-power slots > # low-power slots = shield tank
- # medium power slots < # low-power slots = armor/hull tank

- If you have to use lots of fitting mods (like Power Diagnostic Systems) then your skills and/or fit are terrible. Go back to basics and learn how to fit.

In short: stop trying to be "Legendary" right away. You are a newbie. Your understanding of the game and its mechanics are limited. You must first learn how to survive.

Let me put it another way, even the best Samurai and Ninjas had to perform basic training and work with "masters" before they could work on their own.
No Samurai and Ninja ever became good by themselves (the movies have lied to you!).
You are NOT a "special snowflake."

I recommend you go to this forum and ask for help: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=topics&f=257
Be specific and polite. Remember than you are trying to learn from us.

I've been around since 2007 and my dad has 60 million skill points and he stopped playing years ago. I've been around. You people need to give up they are already working on what I'm talking about. When it comes to MMO's it's about being great why else would it take 23 years to train all the skills? or a hundred days to fly a ship? Let me tell you what my dad thinks about ganks and the jump gates.....well that's forbidden. And I watch all day long at the map and see people dead all day everyday at the gates to null sec. And what in the world is the problem? I came up with an idea and you all just started blasting me with how stupid I am?

Just let me give a good idea and let me teach my cousin everything you probably don't know about the game....equipment and ship wise not flight time. And check out the ecm jammer and ask yourself if YOU can even beat ME in solo.

I'm pretty sure this thread is going to be locked soon... so I won't hold back.

Yige Shen wrote:

Yet you fit your ships like a week old newbie. And the number of skillpoints your father has is irrelevant.

We are talking about YOU and your lacking abilities here.

Yige Shen wrote:

Obviously you haven't. Otherwise your ships would be fit better.

Yige Shen wrote:

And how do you know this?

Yige Shen wrote:

If you think being "great" = "fun" then you better rethink what you are doing in this game.

As I pointed out in a previous post, being "Great" requires more than combat skill.

As for why the skill system takes so long; the skill system is designed so that...
- players cannot do everything by themselves. If they want to do something, they must team up with others who are better than them.
- you must focus your training in a specialty for the maximum time-to-benefit ratio. Otherwise, you will be good at nothing.

Again... what your father thinks is irrelevant. We are talking to YOU.

And the reason we are "blasting you" is because you seem to not want to understand why you are failing. There are options. You must simply learn what they are.

Based on your attitude, I highly doubt you know more than me. I'm a combat-specialist who has been living and fighting in low-sec for almost 4 years.

And yes... I WILL come after you now. And your ECM is not going to save you.

So? I have about 40 mil and I don't know sh*t about many things in EVE. Time and SP don't magically make you better if you can't use and apply those.

Yige Shen wrote:

Yup, they made duels, and also (so I heard) dojos for SiSi. Why don't you go there?

Yige Shen wrote:

Heh. Storm is coming, don your flame-******** suit.
After certain point, you just play the game. Gaining skills is a side effect at that point.

Yige Shen wrote:

When you fly through space, what do you do? Warp to gate -> jump -> appear at gate -> warp to next one...
It would be strange if fights taking place at stations or gates were less common than otherwise.

Yige Shen wrote:

While it's definitely leap of logic, people tend to assume that people defending stupid ideas for this long to be, well, stupid.
Your idea is abuseable, which was pointed out, then you resorted to "well, idc, make necessary adjustments and there you go". Sorry, sir, it's your suggestion, it's up to you to make it work. Keep in mind though that ideas that run counter to EVE philosophy of nobody being immune to player-created environment won't be supported anyways.

P.S. I hope that popcorn of yours is delicious.

My one lock idea is just fine. You can't become invincible by locking onto some random target. And it has counter measures like remote capabilities. That's where that left off. And your way beyond your league when I talk about unlimited skillpoint or levels. It's the only real way to PVP unless you want to be 50/50 or use a controller.
