Carrier BPO Changes - What was the reason why?

This seems like a needless change but honestly I dont care. So they cost more - that just means sell them for more.

"Capital drone bay has been removed from the material requirements of Titans and Dreadnoughts. The material requirement of the remaining components has been increased"

They didn't simply drop the drone bays on dreads. They are fiddling with the whole recipe - on ALL caps. I am guessing, as others above, that they are doing this in order to balance out the sudden dropping of drone bays on a bunch of ships.

Built into this fiddling, it may turn out that there was a slight stealth nerf to all capitals buy making them all more expensive to build.

I guess time will tell, but what is clear, is that it wasn't simply a "drone bays removed, thus remove only drone bay components" change.

They changed all the capitals' build requirements - to what ends and what reasons, only they will know.

As a producer, you should not be affected as extra costs will be passed on to your clients and being sharp and knowing what is going to change may even present you with opportunity to profit from that knowledge.
