Maybe you don't want an answer. Sounds like you just want someone to tell you that it's ok.

No I want an answer from an authoritative source. If the answer is no then I will be surprised but I will move on.

But the dev post said their macro policy hasn't changed and historically this type of macro has been allowed. I just wanted to be sure.

If this helps, CSM member mynnna suggests via Twitter filing the ticket with the community team.

How do I file a ticket with the community team? I tried filing ingame and was sent to the forums.

I don't know. I've never filed a ticket like that. mynnna just suggested it. Is there a community team option?

If you hadn't posted this I would not have known that since I don't do Twitter. CCP making such notices only Twitter is stupid. You make such declarations in the forums and/or in the propaganda sheet sent to every subscription account mailbox.

The thing is, it wasn't a notice. I just started asking questions trying to figure out what Friday's security dev blog meant. Basically, it meant read the EULA literally and strictly.

Can we move on now?

The only CCP post in this thread specifically said that this wasn't an authoritative source. Not sure how you missed it. Its the 3rd post in the thread.

Edit: This is a bigger issue than just macros. Its "Who at CCP can I ask if I have a rules question?". Because it seems like forum devs and ingame GMs are each trying to cover their ass by pushing the issue onto the other guys.

What is it about "stored rapid keystrokes" that you can't understand?

"Measure Twice, Cut Once."

So lets look at that sections.

"You may not use your own or any third-party software, macros or other stored rapid keystrokes or other patterns of play that facilitate acquisition of items, currency, objects, character attributes, rank or status at an accelerated rate when compared with ordinary Game play"

Okay, so any 3rd party program that helps you do better in game is forbidden. Well that would reasonably ban Mumble and any other 3rd party VOIP program, as those definitely give you an advantage over players who don't use them(try doing incursions without 3rd party comms and compare your results to those who use them). That would be the straightforward interpretation of the EULA.

Lucky for us, CCP addresses this in their 3rd party policy. They will allow it if it "enhance(s) player enjoyment in a way that maintains fair gameplay". This determination is at their sole discretion. Now, at one time CCP GMs thought that the "activate all your hardeners at once" macro maintained fair play. Right now I would like to find out from an "authoritative" source if those macros are still allowed.
