Definitely has nothing to do with availability of ISK, rather it's availability of "good stuff".
Raw amount of ISK generated mostly just affects scale of numbers you see on market, but not how accessible goods are.

Well, since 1.5 years ago, T3s are among those things (others are T1 cruisers, FOTF ships and PLEX) that grew noticeably more expensive.

Hmmm, must've played WoW.

Probably not. Money in WoW are mostly worthless due to lack of sinks and the fact that overwhelming majority of good stuff can only be acquired by participating in PvP and PvE activities that have nothing to do with money gathering, and cannot be traded afterwards.

Maybe something changed since I've played it though.

Buy PLEX with real life money, sell PLEX for isk, buy expensive ships etc.

This is not a signature.

I never have enough ISK. Whenever I get above 1 billion it magically evaporates.

I don't agree with the OP here. If you start EVE and find yourself demotivated because you can't fly a 3 billion ISK Rattlesnake any time soon, your problem is not ISK related.

But you can always sell plex and get yourself a ship with purple stuff. Its not like were all waiting to laugh at the lossmail when it hits a website or anything...

Considering we generally agree in topic, and fight only in front of the children to teach them about the real world, I didn't think much we said to each other was ever on topic, dearie Blink

I think the main problem with Eve's economy is the constant inflation. Consider all the mission runners and ratters out there farming all day long, trillions of ISK come into the game everyday. When you buy or sell something, that ISK just changes hands, it is still in the game. When a ship is destroyed, the ISK is still in the game, only materials got destroyed. There are very few ways the ISK actually gets destroyed. The result is that the amount of ISK in the game is going up way faster than the player base.

I see a lot of capsuleers in ( Highsec, Lowsec, Wormhole space) both pve and pvp flying some really expensive stuff. I also look at that individuals kill boards and history. What i see most of the time is them dying in ships costing over 500m+ . Some friends argue with me that starting new in eve is to hard. Mostly due to players isk income not that players skill points when flying ships. So this makes me wonder, Do we as capsuleers have or save isk too easily? Are isk sinks really not that effective or is the risk really low with the tools and game mechanics in place?

Isk is easier to make today than at any point in EVE's history.

Back when I started, and when i could take time off from walking uphill in the snow both ways to school, it was hard as hell to make isk as a pve pilot/explorer type. The scanning system was a complicated mess, their was no way to upgrade a null sec system so any anoms of belt spawns yo found were completely random, their was no wormhole space to farm, no incursions, no faction warfare (and when FW did come, it wasn't lucrative like it is now) and marauders were only introduced shortly after I started playing.

NOW you can skill into a tech3 destroyed and just destroy high sec pve plexes, you can get the standings for lvl 4 missions easily and once you know how to manage standings, do nothing but make isk off of blitzing 'burner' missions with a frigate (I topped 300 mil per hour sustained doing burners for Sisters of EVE in osmon and didn't come close to crashing my standings).

You can take frigate sized ships and make isk in faction warfare and now these frig/HIC only wormholes. You can rat in null with Navy Vexors and other cheap ships that can take advantage of infinitely respawning anomalies that sometimes escalate to even better complexes.

On and On. If you are poor in EVE Online today, it's because you're lazy lol.

Isk is also inherently meaningless.

If you have the skills, you dont need billions

If you dont, you shouldnt have billions

Too much ISK... I am sorry, that sentence does not make sense.
