Jumping every WH in Thera in quick succession would make it a UI nightmare if they showed a timer for each one. It's completely useless if they don't though because then it doesn't really give any information

Pretty much this.
Polarization is wormhole specific but not system specific, so each wormhole has 2 timers on it on each side, which means one jup generates 2 timers in 2 different systems at the same time, on top of which, given the structure of w-space chains, there's a good chance you'd jump multiple wormholes in a short time span, which means multiple timers the game keeps track of, with no real corelation to the information that would be displayed on your screen. Do you want the J sig with revelant timers? there would be a few per Jsig. Do you want wormhole type with its timers? most people don't remember wormhole designations.

Exactly - this would be a UI mess. The sooner this thread sinks the better. glub glub glub.

I do say that i miss the session change timer when jumping gates, holding cloak. Now this timer here, the polarized timer, imho is a good idea. I dont vote but you have my thumb up for the timer.

A timer while on grid would be very useful. Especially for newbros who enter wormholes and don't even know the mechanic exists.

Newbros should learn it like we mostly all did.
This will prevent a messy UI

The problem with this isn't putting the timer in, its visualization of the timer so that the average person will actually understand it.

Its not needed. I do believe it will add unneeded clutter to the UI, and it will also cause people to min/max something that wasn't min/maxable before.

Similar to how mass is calculated, its a guess. There has to be some mystery left in wormhole space to make it interesting.

This goes under my "removes a bit from the game more than it adds".

Actually, we know Polarisation timer. It's min-maxed all the time if you just turn your local chat timestamps on.

This wouldn't be like wh mass. The timer isn't a mystery now that you can add the time stamp to your local session change msg. So there isn't any mystery. If you can find me anything within the EVE system that gives you ANY mass info, I am all in your corner, but that is a bad comparison imo.

This timer wouldn't be adding info. It would be just a matter of displaying it. I don't see why you couldn't have it on wh itself. An additional timer, like agro, could also work, but it might clutter that part of the screen.

That was something that people learned. It wasn't spoon-fed to them by some automagic UI popup from CCP though. It isn't needed. It removes more of the "flavor" and the "knowing the system" than it brings to the table. Aside from those reasons - it would be a visual CF. It's already possible in all areas of space to see 3-4 timers at the top of your screen and that's without needing to worry about another indicator for every possible polarity scenario encountered.
