A combat ship, like a brick tanked Proteus, is much less likely to get cargo scanned and can sometimes defend itself with energy neutralizers.

Brick tanked proteus is essential unsuicideable. Its 790k EHP and immune to bumping while having a cov ops cloak and quick align time.

Unless they have a 20 man talos party in .5 space with an instalock for point they can't get you.
