I like solo game play and was trying to find a reason to continue subscribing.

I'm a casual gamer and was hoping for suggestions from those solo players who've ran through the linear game stuff and found a reason to continue playing more than 3 months. I've done the mission/mining/trading things and they're just rinse/repeat actions.

CoolIs it the social aspects of the game that keep you here?
TwistedOr is there some hidden coolness that drives you to want to log in again.

You can do suicide ganking. The New Order has a very helpful solo friendly suicide ganking community(this is a great use of your 20 day free alt too). Discussing ganks with others and occasionally grouping up to take down bigger targets is a lot of fun. Its pretty casual friendly because you can join and leave the groups as you please.

Its very easy to log in for an hour, do a few ganks, then log off.

I tend to agree with the OP. I'm a solo player myself and I've done the missions, exploration, and mining thing but it doesn't really grasp my entertainment level. I would have to assume for the vast majority of EVE players it's the social aspect through fleets. I wish missions were a little more interesting like in StarCraft 2 where they have little vids in the bottom left with information regarding your mission. Be nice to see a live Aura popping up giving you up to date information as well. Idea

From your post I see you do mostly PVE content, have tried exploration in low sec space or perhaps wormholes?

You can also try faction warfare wich is a mix of PVE and PVP...

get into scanning and get a scan frig. Enter Wh space and scan yourself through 6000 gateless systems....get killed in the process several times but never quit.
