Story Mission - Kidnappers Strike, Level 3

Hi, I just got this 10 part story missions and I am half way through and noticed it branches off after mission part 4 to 3 different factions.

Parts 5-10 can be Sansha, Blood Raiders or Gurista and the missions change depending which one you end up with for parts 5-10.

Is it random which factions and missions you get for parts 5 to 10 or is there a way to make sure you get a specific path type? Like for example I got the Sansha one but what if I wanted the blood raiders one?

I already got a implant drop from this storyline and the missions are pretty cool :)

I believe it's determined by whatever the local pirates are, I'm not certain though.

Since I know you are worried about standings, keep in mind that storyline missions will have an adverse effect on unfriendly faction standing even if you don't shoot any faction npcs.

I think Ralph is right.


Judging from what you say and the factions involved it looks like a shard Amarr and Caldari storyline (which makes sense with lore).

Even more so as Guristas is the Caldari Rat and Blood/Sansha are for Amarr.
So would make perfect sense it just depends on the region you are in.
