EvE is for many kind of players. First likes EvE for PvP , second mate for community. I liked EvE for market speculation, for this i can flying machariel and don't doing boring missions thousand times... Greedy? maybe but if i can - why not?

First fly to destination, then redeem PLEX.
NOT the other way around.

I think he's buying PLEX in one market and moving it to the other. In which case redeeming does not work.

Regional PLEX trading is also very lucrative, it just has to be moved correctly.

I regularly transport 10-20B between Jita and Amarr. Never got ganked. Even when I did it during Burn Jita and taunted the Goons on local:
