A Joint Announcement Issued by the Offices of Household Affairs of the Cerra Family and Sakakibara Family

We are pleased to inform the faithful of the Empire of two weddings that took place in the sight of God and in the grace of our beloved Empress on December 13, YC116 uniting Lady Shalee Lianne Cerra with Tigerfish Torpedo and Lord Reginald Sakakibara with Katerina Tzestu. The celebrant of the two ceremonies, held simultaneously, was Deacon Johanes Beaumonte, who rendered his services expertly as a servant of Our Lord. The ceremony was kept largely private and open only to immediate family members and close friends, who bore witness as the sacramental vows were exchanged.

Additionally, it is with great pride that we announce the ceremonies were held at a newly-constructed cathedral at Cerra Manor located on the seventh planet of the recently-liberated system of Huola. May joy eternal and happiness everlasting grace these unions and blessings of God be upon them.

I had to double check my calendar to verify this was not the 'Day of Fools.'

I do not know Lord Reginald Sakakibara nor Katerina Tzestu, so will give a tentative congratulations to them.

The other pair however, well, look no further than PY-RE's inclusion into I.LAW and I think you get a sense of this union.

As far as I am aware PY-RE is a reputable mercenary company and I.LAW was a respectable Amarrian alliance. I can thus only assume you believe Lady Shalee Lianne is a reputable and respectable married woman.

I would like to congratulate both of couples.

However, honestly, I am a bit concerned. I believe that marriage exists for bringing up children, and at the same time I believe tor a capsuleer to have children is... well, it is not very good for children, mostly for social and spiritual reasons.

Anyways, I wish you best of luck, and for your children... to not share the fate that I am afraid of.
