EvE, and not much else.

I dabbled with LotRO for maybe a few days, but the grind destroyed one of my last two functioning braincells... Ugh

My online multiplayer career? (updated!)

Il-2 Sturmovik 1946 online multiplayer (longer than a year)
Pirates of the Burning Sea (several months)
Age of Conan (six months)
Battlefield Heroes (a few weeks)
EVE Online (several years)
The Secret World (open beta, didn't like at all)
Lord of the Rings online (a couple hours and literally fled from it, couldn't hit "uninstall" quick enough)
Battlefield Heroes (a few weeks)
Guild Wars 2 (several months)
Planetside 2 (several months)
EVE Online (several months)
War Thunder (didn't really caught with me)
Age of Conan Unchained (spawned at Tortage Island beach and every last cell in my body said "oh, no, not again!")
Start Trek Online (the usual 3 months)
Planetside 2 (turned to have become Lagside on Lag^2, was quickly dismissed)
The Elder Scrolls Online (only first month of sub... I totally had forgot I played it when I wrote this list yesterday, 'nuff said)
Pirates of the Burning Sea (a few nostalgia weeks)
EVE Online

So lets, see:

1. Diablo II Battlenet (not sure if this counts)
2. WoW (vanilla) as first real MMO
3. City of Heroes/Villains --> loved this one to bits, still one of the best avatar based MMOs in my opinion. So sad it got sacked.
4. Eve --> I took several longer breaks but always kept coming back
5. Warhammer Online --> the pvp was fun, everything else not so much
6. Champions Online --> just a few weeks until I realized that this game in fact was not CoH 2.
7. Hello Kitty Online--> always thought this was a joke on the eve forums, when I found out this abomination really existed and was free to play, of course I had to try it. Well...what can I say....it's not very good Blink

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

I once in -96 (I think) printed a list that had all the available muds that were open at the time along with their IP's and the list took almost 50 pages ...
I doubt any of the MUD's in that list exist any more but you can try this one http://www.topmudsites.com/ and see if there's a genre that you would like to try out.

edit:
Well batmud and okay some of the others also still exist. P

Edit2: just checked on http://www.bat.org/play/batclient out of curiosity and man but we ain't in kansas anymore, dorothy when it comes to way MUD's are played these days. Shocked
I guess all that needless graphical stuff is called progress by the experts.

Let's see here, my MMO career;

Second Life*

World of Warcraft, Warlords of Draenor**

Guildwars

Eve

*Second Life is NOT a game as a lot of people says it is, but for me, that's where I gotta my start to my current career in MMOs since Oct. 2006.

**New expansion is ok by any standards, Blizzard could have done a lot better but oh well.

Ultima Online
Everquest
DAoC
WoW
EVE
Darkfall Online
LotRo

My usual theme is more fantasy based but I do so much more enjoy a sandbox/skill based style game.

Still holding out for UO2. The origional UO had a great many similarities to EVE.
