Gods and spirits.

One thing that continually frustrates me about the Intergalactic Summit is the propensity for people to view other posters as literal avatars for their home nation or faction, who must at all times be pushing the agenda of that nation or faction, rather than individuals capable of their own distinct opinions on both affairs domestic and foreign to them. For instance, people have accused me of being a covert Federal in recent weeks, because the idea of being able to point out problems with ones own society without literally being part of that societies enemy is apparantly a completely alien concept to them.

In that same vein, while I don't agree with everything he's saying, it is sort of bizzare to call Andreus a hypocrite. He isn't the Federation incarnate. He isn't responsible for any wrongdoing the Federation has done to the State in the warzone. He is perfectly qualified to be critical of the Empire in any respects that he wants - Because he is himself, not a simple mouthpiece for the Gallente government.

Edit: And if anyone is about to make any sly "Could've fooled me!" jokes, please know in advance that I consider you the epitome of petty triteness.

Got that right. Roden couldn't possibly write paychecks fat enough to get me publicly voicing support for some of the decisions he's made over the past few years.

But thank you for your kind words, in any case.

Yes, because firstly, I've never heard of it, and secondly, this thread isn't about the Federation.

Point taken.

And I do suggest you read up on the history of the Rise when you get a chance.

Just my opinion but here are none of us here, representative of our governments or corporations or not, who get to preach about another groups' wrongdoings.

Given what we are and what we do, there are none of us who can claim the moral high ground.

Yes. We've been humouring you ever since. Or something.

Shut up. Everybody is in the wrong. We've seen this argument hashed out so many times I expect most of us can repeat it by rote. Literally very major group in the cluster has done something that the others can point at and claim moral superiority. Repetitive arguments on a glorified message board are not going to suddenly prove that one viewpoint is right and, by god, how had we not seen this all along?!

For the sake of your own blood pressure, just stop.

Go suck on some drop or something equally useful.

Are you out of your mind, IGS will just ceases to exist if everyone stoped their repetitive arguments.

Hey, boss? If they stop being talking heads, that means they'll have time to do other things. Things that may interfere with things we are doing. If we let them be talking heads, then we don't have to worry about it as much. They'll make a small accmplishment and spend the next month bosting about it instead of moving to bigger objectives. Let them talk, it's not like they can do more than annoy people.

Hello pot this is kettle, you're black!

Calling somebody's narrow interests pointless while being involved passionately in your own narrow interests is a bit weird. And yes, everyone is involved in narrow interests, because, you know, human being.

By the measure of full Warzone Control, the State Protectorate hasn't "won" since I've been in the Militia. Gallente forces have at least held onto Fortress systems such as Vlil and Nenna during the post full control Caldari counteroffensives.

This being a brag thread, I'm taking full personal credit, obviously.
