Did the Sleepers get stupid?

Aggro mechanics seem to have gone back a few years. Sleepers will pick a target when you land on the site and keep hammering the same target until it dies or you die. Escalation waves do the same thing, when they drop on grid, they pick a target and never switch.

We did 11 C6 sites tonight and I was flying triage so I pretty much watched who was getting pounded for a few hours and it was my carrier for the initial group and then someone else for the next escalation waves but none of the usual Sleeper shenanigans of every one of them shooting someone or them splitting their fire and swapping targets every now and then. Basically I had to rep myself and then one other pilot until all the sleepers were dead.

I'm guessing it's a bug, didn't know which section it belongs to but since I saw this behavior on Sleepers, Wormholes it is.

Well thats still better than the sleepers old aggro mechanic which seemed to be whenever someones tank was breaking they'd switch off him.

I noticed the sleepers stuck on the carrier for a little longer than usual, but apart from that it seemed like a pretty normal run to me.

We've been seeing that lately. They pick a favourite and stick with it till the end. It's real nice for the other dreads who can go full blap fit but you gotta feel for the one guy sitting there taking it all.

have not noticed this the same way really, they begin by picking whoever lands first/starts moving or drops a tractor unit first(usually) and then they switch to whoever hits them the hardest in the next 1 or 2 minutes and keep switching to whoever hits hardest every so often.

its pretty abusable though so i really hope they don't "fix" it.

On a nullsec roam yesterday, a group of sleepers warped down to a gate and analyzed and looted some wrecks . I've almost spilled out my whiskey.

It seems like thoose little buggers are up to someting sinister.

We have not noticed it. Switching between the webs, carriers and dreads quite a bit. Is this something that changed like yesterday or something?

Ran some sites last night. Normally the sleepers go after our heaviest DPS dreads once we're in full swing, but this time they were more random on their primaries. Otherwise, there was no picking a favourite and sticking with them.

Yeah, now that you mention it, we had a similar experience over the weekend. We took a bunch of dessies and Augorors into a few sites and the sleepers only hit the two Augoror pilots. They occasionally slapped a Dessie but out of our five destroyer pilots, three of them never got aggro at all. After a few seconds hitting their new primary, they would swap and shoot the Augorors again.
