God-rays?

I know that the updated asteroid environments have been pushed back, but I've seen some videos showing more sun-ray effects and wasn't sure if it was taken from the Probe app, or PC versions of the game. Just curious what the status is of this effect, is it coming with the updated asteroids? Will we see it for OSX version also? Thanks!

By "god rays" I'm talking about the way a system's sun shines around objects that was first introduced and up until recently I believed was only visible in incursion systems. I'm not seeing this effect on my OSX client, then again I haven't been through any incursion systems recently so I'm not sure if it's enabled there also.

Does anyone know about this?

In case anyone was curious, I figured it out and now I feel a bit silly but I thought for sure I was missing a graphics checkbox somewhere.

I rebooted into Windows and it looks just like my OSX version, without "god-rays" (unless it's incursion systems, which I did test are working on my OSX). What I was seeing was photos and videos of the graphics testing utility Eve Probe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2KtKQOAJik, which unfortunately is not yet out for OSX.

I suspect it's a Mac, or OSX specific issue.

There's a player who posted several pics recently in GD that shows the rays (or rather shadows) created by an object in front of the sun; as in this example.

Oh yeah, I knew I'd seen that pic too. But I booted up into Windows and made sure it was using DX11 and all settings maxed out - no "crepuscular rays" for me. Anyone know if these were enabled on SISI?

I even flew to an incursion system, tested it out and was seeing all of the rays as expected. I logged out, then rebooted into my OSX side and logged back in. Sure enough, Sansha's rays were running just fine for me on OSX side.
