Question on material costs vs market value on npc dropped bpc items

I have BPCs for Large Ancillary Shield Booster, Reactive Armor Hardener, and Large Micro Jump Drive. Each of these are selling far below the material cost to make them. Are these dropped as loot now? Are they over built and being dumped? What am I missing here?

For example for Large Micro Jump Drive material cost is about 1.6m each at jita buy prices and they are selling for around 890k.

They were just too common. There are a couple that still have some profit in them like the Small Ancillary Armor Repairer. Even that one is slowly falling to crap status.

Also idiots who think if they mine or find the stuff to make it themselves means they can sell at below cost.

As far as I can tell these modules are not dropped as loot so its a lot of people either building with "free" minerals or unloading extra stock. Guess I'll just hold them. Thanks for the responses.

I've destroyed several of these BPs. They are worthless because there are so many of them and there just isn't enough demand for the items.

The items are not being dropped. Recommend you just trash the BPCs. Situation's not likely to change next week or next month.
