As topic says, we want to see some battle reports from Thera!
I know it's early yet, but any epic battles happening thus far?

Search thera on zkill. So far shows 550 ships lost. Lots of pods and dictors so bubbles and big nullsec alliances. Sounds like fun....

Can check top ships there too. Mostly dictors and inteceptors. Pizza most active alliance followed by goons. Whod have guess any of this?

wow!! you mean to say large NS groups who have nothing to do with WH space occupied the system immediately with giant blobs?!?!
I would NEVER have guessed....

anyone who thinks Thera is a WH system is highly deluding themselves

The tourists will be here to try it out and eventually get recalled back to NS to protect their farms.

I didn't see anything on the field all day that would counter a well organized w-space alliance such as NOHO, Disavowed etc with a full armor T3 doctrine.

Thera has a huge number and range of statics. This makes it an ideal staging point for any NS blob alliance that wants to raid random parts of null with hordes of ishtars and T3's.

I suspect it will be very busy.

So where do all the Null Sec people post in the forums. Maybe we should get this thread moved over there and perhaps some actual Battle Reports will be posted.

but wormholes collapse after a certain amount of mass has passed through. If a huge blob alliance sets up camp, and then they decide to attack via a wormhole, they're only going to be able to get a small part of their force through before the wormhole collapses and then the rest are left behind, forced to use a different wormhole and then their forces are split up

Found Thera a few minutes after Rhea dropped. Went in, just as you'd expect. Goons, Pizza, Brave, Neuts galore. It was literally identical to my time spent with BNI actual in GE-. Local was spammed, every exit/entrance was bubbled and stations were camped by grrr Goons or whoever was able to show up in T3's. An overall extremely boring and disappointing experience. I can see the fun in it if you're a large Null sec entity, but that's just what Thera is, Null Sec space in a Wormhole.

I popped in for a while around 0300 yesterday, and it was surprisingly quiet. No bubbles at my entrance, or on any of the stations. I looked around, made a few bookmarks, popped a few rookie ships, then docked up. Maybe it was just my time of day, but I wasn't seeing any of the blobbing that's been reported.

We popped in with a 15 man t1 cruiser fleet around 0300 yesterday, looking to whelp into something. Lots of people playing station games, bombers, etc. Killed a few bs's, bombers, frigs. Lots of getting capped out while warping around. Hung around for about two hours, then had to fly home to instead of checking the new pod death mechanics

Had a blast in Thera the first day(with null alt). But now ... nothing to shoot. Looks like some hs bears set up intel chan and doing pve. Not much on market yet though.
