That's due to the performance optimization and LOD working as if it's centered on the focused ship and not on your camera. Your focused ship (either your own, or 'Look At' target') will be always 100% sharp and have everything animated while anything away from focused ship is lower in detail the further away you are.

This used to be centered on the free-floating camera and not the focus so it is a change, not sure if it's better or not.

If that is the case, that it will show a lower level of detail for ships that aren't set as the current focus, it seems as though if I click Look At for a pack of nados, then go back to my ship, I can still see all their guns from zooming in from a distance.

So maybe it is a LOD thing for any ship you haven't "Looked At", and then retains the higher detail afterwards? This can be somewhat annoying as if a ship has initiated warp, you can't look at it, and therefore will not be able to tell if/what type of guns it has like you used to. Or if for instance someone is more than 100k away, you won't be able to see if they are snipe fit or close range. Guess its another level of information obscurity they are introducing to get more fights more often.

All my settings are on High, I could understand if this was a lower setting thing, but it is happening with everything full bore turned up.

Confessor mode switching buttons are still bugged. They don't show when you board a confessor in space - you need to dock to make them visible. (Very annoying in w-space.)

Went back to scanning again two days ago, still don't like it, feels cheap and unrewarding.

Anyway, The Pac-man Game , several times I have noticed that without any obvious reasons, the silly add-on game slows to a crawl, can happen anytime during this mind murdering and utterly boring exercise, this can lead to 'Over Clicking' if there can be such a thing in this mundane click fest, resulting in loss of the can, but there you have it along with a number of other issues brought on by Rhea mostly to do with the introduction of latency were there was none previously.

Humanity is the thin veneer that remains after you remove the baffled chimp.

Ever since Rhea deployment my inventory tab has disappeared upon entering a station. This is making hauling more than a little tedious :)

Love the complete lack of dev responses or updates in the "Issues" thread that they started.

Also want to point out another bug I noticed. Since they "fixed" the always blinking mail icon every time I signed in, now I no longer get a blinking mail icon when I have or get a new notification mail. Like structures or contacts etc, have tested and confirmed, emails get the mail icon to blink, but mail notifications do not get the icon to blink.

This was noticed primarily because some friends and I almost missed seeing an upcoming war. Thankfully most of us saw it when we logged in this morning giving us 4 hours to prep, but should have seen something about it while being online all day/night yesterday when the dec came in. Now I don't know if the mail actually came in when it was supposed to or if it didn't hit our inboxes until this morning, all I know for sure is that nobody had any notifications or blinking icons saying we got a notification until logging in this morning.

Yep. I've definitely had this issue. It's frustrating as hell to run ghost sites with it because it tends to reduce the amount of cans you can do before the site blows up.

Still getting this framerate drop issue when running 3 accounts, very weird. It used to only freeze up all the clients when a new one processes bulk data upon login, now it's happening whenever I open a window and issue a command after being alt-tabbed for a while...

like i said in my post previously in this thread every time i warp to a gate or station the client crashes. any time i open either of the star maps the client crashes. any time i jump the client crashes. this is bull **** i cant play this was an issue back on SISI with the rhea patch. no one important has responded to my post or advised me on what to do i've cleared my cache but i did not help. i expect you to reimburse me for the time i haven't been able to play! oh and no deves have responded in this thread at all. thanks for ruining my X-mas holidays XEvil

Try dropping your UI Scaling to 100% or less. I had this issue when playing on my 4k TV.

So no sooner than CCP 'fixes' the fake flash...i have since stopped getting flashes on my mail icon for any notifications.

Bump for fix since I'm also no longer getting notifications as well, and I'm scared of using the new map as it's crashed once on me.


Also, I had a bounty placed on me while in Recruiting Chat and never received the notification.



And speaking of the bounty system. Putting bounties on toons just for the lulz of doing so isn't what it was meant to provide. I could see it if I was doing something like ganking a miner, but trying to recruit people and going flashy is no bueno.

Sounds like you need to re-read what the 'bounty' actually does. In your carebear case, someone would have to gank you in order to collect said bounty. And even then, they will only get up to 20% of your loss value. Its just payment for destruction...not license to destroy...

I know how the system works, but try explaining it to someone else who doesn't.

It makes recruiting more of a PITA than it already is; at least I'm not a corp of alts.
