So, I came up with an idea to write a journal from the captain's point of view in my own ships. While I understand that even the largest of ships can be controlled from within the very command center only the captain can access, I reference that it is commanded by the captain and his bridge. Or if within smaller vessels, a small crew, a single pilot's seat, or even the pod itself and it's neural connection to the entire ship.

First Account:

Discovered an unstable wormhole whilst scanning for sites. That woman didn't say WHERE to scan, took me at least three hours to find the training site. But, again, it's an unstable wormhole. Concord messaged me before entering it out of my own curiosity, prompting caution. Random location in deep space? Heck, seems enticing, but not enticing enough. I'm flying a small ship. Not much money, really don't want to run into bandits, or get lsot. If it's unstable, then it might mean it would close the moment I went through. Really don't want to test that. I left the Wormhole. For now.

Second Account:

Before getting back into scanning, I asked my friend Novac about good ways to make money with guns. Well, considering I were flying a well-armed ship, he gave me a few good examples. Incursions are the most rewarding, but I'm not ready for that yet. He pointed me to the option of scouting anomalies. There is money in it. Before heading back out with a scanner (and a very well-armed and well-armoured ship), I asked Novac about unstable wormholes. He notified me they don't collapse when you go through, which meant I'd be able to return, but he told me to mark it. Finding it again would not happen if I lsot track. So, using my navigation system, I placed a waypoint. Then I traversed through. On the other side, there was, surprisingly, a star. Marked the wormhole, headed on in. The star system was small, but I didn't know what there was to expect. Here, I just warped to the star, hunkered by, deployed some core probes, began searching. However, didn't even need to start scanning. They gave immediate results. A hangar, checkpoint, few other locations with pinpoint coordinates. Set a course.

Upon arrival to the hangar mentioned, claxons went off immediately, enemies dotted the radar. At first, it was jsut a few enemies on the radar. Took to checking their names out of interest. What pirate menace was based here, and how well armed are they?

Defintiely not any pirates. Upon the first examination, I got the ship cams to examine the vessel of jsut one of the fleet. Something called an Awakened whatever. Forgot the rest of the name, because shortly after, they began heading for us. They were at least fifty kilometers away and in less than ten seconds, were painting us with locators, firing off rockets. One hit was enough. Watching the percentages of the shields, armour, and hull, I saw one rocket take down an amazing amount. Activated the shield booster, set a course for the wormhole, I was getting out post haste.

In the end of the encounter, I had noticed qutie a lot of damage to the shields. Whats wonderful is we had shields. If we didn't have shields, we'd have been knocked around by those rockets and taken serious damage. They took full force and were still strong. These awakened, or rather known as the Sleepers, as I recall my friend saying something about, were strong. I don't know what they are, never seen them, never saw or heard of one till recently. People know of these Sleepers, but it seems that they don't bother anyone in the galaxy, unless they reside on the outer rim.

I'll return later with my Megathron. Proud to say, I'm training to pilot one, made a contract with my friend, Novac. As long as I provide the materials, he'll build it. Wonderful. I jsut need to get a few million units of each required material...Thats going to take a while.

Look, lads and all ye lass', there be hope, no matter what downs ya. Thar always be hope. Live to tell the tale, make yerself known. Thar nay be anythin' more frightenin' than a force ta be reckoned with.

Third Account:

Shared my encounter with the Sleepers with my friend, Novac. He had a bit of information on them himself. Despite having met my match with relative ease last event, I decided to attempt another go at these sleepers. This time, fighting the smaller vessels in smaller numbers. My Thorax can definitely take and deal damage on an even level each, so why not test this ship's abilities?

I set a coruse for the star at the center of the system, safest place guessable, and deployed a few probes. They intercepted the locations of the constructs in the system same as before, no need for real location, and I mulled over what sounded worthy of exploration. I was itching to fight something, but I also needed to get something out of this. A captain commanding a ten million isk worth ship should be makign at least some kind of decent income to pay for another, should there be complications...

Needless to say, the thorax was lost. Whilst pondering locations and strategies for smaller vessel combat situations, a well-armed adversary, definitely not a sleeper, showed up. Captaining a very deadly ship, might I add. Gone was the thorax, and it's crew. Might have lost those for the job. But, they have many clones of their own. They survived just as I did, but losing in a situation like that, despite being unlucky, can put those that died in the event, on edge. I pondered on the attack for a while. Across a wormhole, a vessel armed to the teeth. So, calling upon the logs, I found out who this person was. Wasn't until a few messages later between me and this person did I find out that he deemed the wormhole the very bridge to his home base of operations and his sleeper hunting grounds. Called me a poacher.

An enemy has been made. Maybe I'll make a smaller journal on his hunt. Nonetheless. The Sleepers will be there, and as I had checked on the markets, getting good loot from their broken ships would prove to turn a mighty profit. However, with my thorax lost, and basic insurance administered upon my next clone's activation, I got too little to commission another Thorax. Could start amining operation, but as of this point, no vessel. It will take quite a while to recover this loss, even if it would be declared quite a small one. Good news is that my friend Novac pulled through, and I have amegathron at my disposal. Will be running with a few others to fight off Sansha's influence later on. As of right now, I'm not worried about the Sleepers. I'll put this journal down until I can pick this mission back up to explore these...citizens? Creatures? Don't know what a sleeper is. However, I will not do my research. I want to experience and explore these worthy adversaries on my own time. If all unstable wormholes lead to these sleepers, then there is more than one place to explore.

Look, lads and all ye lass', there be hope, no matter what downs ya. Thar always be hope. Live to tell the tale, make yerself known. Thar nay be anythin' more frightenin' than a force ta be reckoned with.
