test sever is useless if you cant test anything anyway........

so i joined the test server to try out a ship before i devoted the next few months and 10-15 billion isk on it. ive found so far that the test server is 100% the same as the normal server if anything its worse as the ship that i have intrest in cant be flown without training in the main game and of course there is no way around it. so even if i were to skill in the the ship on the main server and then wait 3 months for a mirror on the test server i would have already wasted almost a year and billions of isk on a ship and skill books that i may not like at all....and will more than likely never fly anyway.........my point is why is the test server setup like this? you can not test something even if you wanted too....what's more annoying is none of the the "mast tests" not one in the last few years have been anywhere even close to my timezone or play time...........this means that there would be less then no point to train for a ship if there will never be a way to test it. or even try it out....

the test server singularity is there for ccp to do mass tests on upcoming features and content patches,
its open to the public because they need us to participate, find bugs and provide feed back on changes they make to the game before it goes live on tq and everyone loses their **** over something that could have easily avoided ,
now people will lose their **** regardless but that doesn't detract from the merit.

sisi is not for you to test stuff as you seem to think.

if you want to try something you need to participate in one of the mass tests whereby you will be awarded two million sp per one attended.

Instead of complaining, you can take advantage of the fact that skillbooks and +5 implants are 100 ISK each on SiSi, train for that ship on SiSi and use the training time on TQ to do other things.

Taking advantage of what's available instead of complaining about what isn't available is the correct path in this instance; especially when CCP has stated several times that they will not just hand out skills unless it's specifically required for testing something relevant to their interests, such as titan skills being handed out when CCP wanted to see how caps and supers would react to going through gates together (the bumping was over 9000) or Marauder skills when CCP wanted people to test the Bastion function.

If it's that big a deal to you, then use one of your vacation days to attend the next mass test (not a mini mass test; those rarely award skill points).

Show up to mass tests and CCP will give you SP.

"Test server" is not for you test **** out in that sense. It is to help CCP test for flaws in upcoming content slated for release. Soon you'll complain that the FFAs have supercaps blobbing in them and that the pvp on there should be "fair." -_- if only you could downvote on these forums
