I'm digging the speed on this thing but not sure how she'll track and maneuver. Stats below.
If there something close to this speed that's a better choice let me know. The Nomen with a nanofib is 500 m/s slower.

[Phantasm, 100mn AB]

3x Heavy Pulse Laser II (Scorch M)

Core C-Type 100MN Afterburner
Pith C-Type Large Shield Booster
Limited Adaptive Invulnerability Field I
Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I (Navy Cap Booster 800)
Tracking Computer II (Tracking Speed Script)
True Sansha Warp Disruptor

2x Heat Sink II
2x Tracking Enhancer II
Internal Force Field Array I

2x Medium Ancillary Current Router II
Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I

With my skills
- DPS 352
- Tank 220dps
- Optimal 26.9 km
- Velocity 2,974 m/s
- Tracking 0.15 rad/s
- Sig rad 127m

Modules 340m Hull 160m.

that will handle about aswell as a three bedroom semi-detached house.
a fast three bedroom semi-detached house granted ,
but a three bedroom semi-detached house none the less.

looks fun though.

*me eyes* Why gimp a perfectly awesome ship with a standard 10mn by giving it such drawbacks? Crazy in my opinion but I've not tried it, can't see it working on an already poor tracking laser ship though.

Plus as stated, it will handle about as well as a self propelled mobile home equipped with a rocket engine going down the motor way.

It could work but not without any nanos at all, you need some agility mods in there. Personally I'd go for a dual prop, it seems to fit the Phantasm quite well.

Thanks for the feedback so far. If you think the house on rockets sounds fun Ralph, head out to the nearest mining belt and try out the 100MN MWD Nomen Blink.

After a quick test it's big issue is that it's taking far too long to spool up to it's full speed, negating much of it's benefits. It's like Bowser or DK in the original Mario Kart. Great speed but if you ever slow down you've lost the race... err, fight.

The nanos is a good suggestion, although Nomads might be required as well. With 2 nanos and a Nomad set it has the same agility as the 100MN AB Tengu.
When you say dual prop do you mean conventional AB/MWD, oversized-AB/MWD, or oversized-AB/AB? I've seen all 3 on zkill before, heh.

Oh I know it does, iv recently fallen in love with the 100mn ham legion of "**** you and everything near you".
Fantastic ship...provided i don't need to make any turns with it.

Yeah it takes a while to spool up but once you're moving you can just lol at people that web and scram you (unless they have a Loki, that will wipe the grin off your face fairly sharply).

No, it doesn't work...

Regular dual prop, 10MN AB + 10MN MWD. You'll be able to kite at long point range much better with the MWD compared to a 100MN AB and if you get scrammed you can use the AB to escape or pull range with some snakes you can get 2.3k with an OH 10MN AB which when combined with a web will allow you to escape from anything that scrams you unless you're dual webbed. You can also wedge an XL ASB on there for a decent tank.

Not sure what you plan to do with it but it will handle poorly ie not agile whatsoever but fast in a straight line. You basically gimped your fit to have better GTFO ability so I guess the question here is it worth it?

Because battle reports tell the whole stories of fights... Clearly eve is like pokemon where we just line up and shoot each other while praying for the best. It definitely doesn't take place in real time 3d space.

That's not to say the BR disproves that 100mn phantasm can work, but as an avid phantasm user dual prop MWD/AB is much better with beams or pulses.

First: I have no idea how well it would work.

Second: That sounds wildly entertaining.

I did something similar with a 10MN AB Dragoon and drone link augmenters. It was clumsy, but I could easily kite/speed tank without a sig radius penalty, and even if someone caught me, it was very difficult to lock down. Even webbed, I was still outrunning many afterburning cruisers.

100mn Phantasm is a perfectly viable fit and fun to fly...but also very, very difficult to control.

You have a 35 second align time with the 100mn AB switched on, making it extraordinarily difficult to even alter your heading by a few degrees.

If you test its turning circle, do you wind up off grid before you've done a 360 degree arc?

This ship does indeed look like hilarious fun, however, even if it doesn't work well.
