Engaging Wormhole Camps

Adding my vote to bumping. It's worked for us at times but they can't be hugging the hole (< 5km)

And I wouldn't be too down on the idea of polarizing them. People make mistakes and wormholes are especially impenetrable to some, mechanics-wise. In other words, always bet on stupid.

Oh! This is a post about us! Hi!
I asked around about this situation and I've been able to gather a few answers.
From what I understand, you guys were sitting in the hisec to our hole and refused to jump in and actually engage us. COF does not play hisec games, nor will a number of other wormhole entities. We would've more than loved to fight you in a non partisan region of space. If you would've liked a fight, we would've gladly engaged you on somewhere where you wouldn't immediately jump into a place where you knew we could not kill you at a moment's notice.

There's a few things you could do. For starters, get into contact with a member of the enemy fleet and arrange a fight as COF does commonly with entities even larger than itself.
If you were actually looking to force a fight on a crit hole, you could always go and grab a suicide rolling battle ship. You and your fleet would jump in, crash the hole with the roller and tackle whatever you could with a hic/dic/ceptor gang.

But if you encounter a camp where people are just jumping in, then just bump us. It's not hard, considering we were in Exeqs and Vexors and you had Stratios' (<---Bumps), a Rapier (Bumps and webs) and Bombers (eh...not bad at bumping.)

Fly reckless!

Depending on wormhole mass you can collapse it from high sec using orcas or freighter and then finish them off. Did it a couple of times always hilarious :)

CCP wake up to this lame HS connection mechanic and introduce:

5 minute Limited Weapons Timer
Cause: Aggression against another Corporation or Alliance
Consequence: The Corporation or Alliance may freely engage you while timer is active

Failing that, cloaked Higgs rig BLOP is the new Orca, with teeth

While anyone who's actual wormholer will agree, High Sec games are annoying and just plain bad mechanics, but it doesn't make much sense from a canonical standpoint why they wouldn't be able to jump through without consequence. At present, CONCORD doesn't have much of anything to do with J-Space, with the exception of using them for research purposes like the Sisters of EVE. And you know how CONCORD works, you ask them to put one thing in place, next thing they're putting a local chat up, and then they're asking you to pay 'Exploration Bills' and then they want to be able to CONCORDOKKEN you on the other side as soon as you jump out, and eventually in your own hole.

Suppose you could do something with the weapons, though. I imagine jumping through a Wormhole would cause some sort of exhaustion or require some bit of focus to actually maneuver through those sorts of whatever that is. The biggest issue to me, though, is then you just make wormholes k-space gate mechanics, and isn't that what we're all trying to get away from?

Go Suspect in HS and make them fight you like real men.

Noob question, but what is polarizing? Is that something to do with the new polarized weapons?
