So, like, here is a screenshot of the sun in the Minmatar system Ivar, taken today. Should we be worried? All the other stars in systems around Ivar are normal / horizontal.

They added star flare variations to the game in a recent release.

It is somewhat prettier now. We need a name for it. Caroline Nebula?

If this does become a nebula I wonder what it's primary colours will be? Will it be similar to our current empire nebula in having a prominent/primary colour? Or, will it become one that is multi-coloured?

It's expanding at what seems to be a fairly linear rate.
Since the cloud in its current state is still expanding, and the cloud is also not very dense, it's unlikely that this will form a nebulae as you're thinking of it. It will likely just dissipate until it can no longer be seen.

Assuming that the cloud is gaseous material, you're already looking at a nebula.

And also, if it did turn into the massive nebulae that you see surrounding New Eden, it would keep the colour it has now (assuming that the material from the explosion would form the large nebulae).

It's unfortunate, but I suspect you are going to be right about that. Straight

Sorry guys, I shouldn't have eaten the tamales at the buffet in Jove space the other day...

Maybe it's a re-opening of the EVE Gate. It could have moved its endpoint here over the thousands of years...

whats the un speed up version? and should i continue reducing the milliseconds between each gif? atm its at 250 milliseconds i started out with 850 been slowly decreasing it it can go all the way down to 0 if i told it to do so so there's no limit

also i have all the days saved too without the numbers btw all pics were taken at 1920x1200 res but when i choose download gif from the site it gives me a smaller version

Yes, it gives you a smaller GIF because stabilising the frames also crops them.

You should really just keep doing the slow video, as if you go too fast then the GIF will be too shaky and unpleasant to watch.

If you choose to stabilise it, however, you will lose quality.
I can continue to update the stabilised-version every now and then until the remnants of Caroline's Star dissipate.

For reference, I have my frames 60ms apart.

what i was saying is that the site that i use (not to stabilize idk how to stabilize) the download option it gives you makes u download a smaller version while there is still a larger version here http://gifmaker.me/PlayFrameAnimation.php?folder=20141225184xLK5SVeSznA951utXEQOE

btw thats also at 250ms
