Hello

Im currently running a tengu and two dominix in level 4 missions. The drones assist the Tengu and its sweeps through missions very quickly.

But

Im thinking of a change as ive been offered a place to run anoms in nullsec.


Im looking to change the ships to a vindicator and two Rattlesnakes (using sentries to assist)


I know that the rattlesnake has bad tracking in relation to the Dommi but here is the question


Question

If the Vindicator is using dual webs to slow down Frigates will the Rattlesnake sentries have no problems hitting them

The tracking should not be an issue with vindi-webs - however tracking is not the only difference between the Domi and Rattler...
You will also be losing range - which may mean that you have to choose longer ranged sentries and therefore lower DPS.
More importantly (perhaps) you seem to be set-up to ignore the Domis once you've assigned their drones. About half the Rattler's potential damage comes from its missiles so you would either have to sacrifice the majority of the damage advantage or you would have to pay significantly more attention to them. Assuming that you didn't want to put that much focus on them you would have something of a tank advantage (of course) but considering the hull costs...
