Highly unlikely, as they'd have to follow the movements of the ship exactly, and we'd have detected them by now.

Theory:

The Sleepers are active and attacking Sanshas Nation assets in W-Space. The Sleepers caught Sanshas Nation with it's pants down durring their recent incursion and attempting to escape through the wormhole would have been a tremendous waste of time and resources. More conventional means of transport became necessary. Sanshas Nation is on high alert. "In a panic" I believe is what Dr. What'sisface message translated to.

Actually quite plausible, keep coming up with new theories and sending new images and data.

Update:
The probe that I dispatched began transmitting data approximately 2 minutes ago (at approximately 21:25 on 30/11/YC116), and has only confirmed what we already know. It is some kind of core-collapse supernova, and is emitting high-levels of gamma rays, and x-rays, along with the usual cosmic background radiation. I haven't been able to get a clear video feed, due to high levels of interference from the anomaly itself. However, it doesn't appear to be exactly centered on the W477-P star itself, but is rather close. I am not sure of this exactly as the readings are scrambled. But at least the probe's transmitting, I'll update if I get anything else.

Many warm hello for all. My name Kellie.

Many big worry accompany recent anomoly of star. Some rumors for say could be end of known space. I no believe it, but beside of point.

As newly appointed boss lady for family corporation and alliance I wish make first positive gesture for many all pilot who live Empire and known region. For any who a scare of anomoly or think is doomday my corporation offer safety and many refuge for any capsuleer and baseliner who want escape Empire to come Anoikis where anomoly too far away and cannot see.

Is offer for select number of refuge who wish enjoy safety in remote place while anomoly thing take place. We cannot house all of capsuleer but can accept small to medium number of pilot. Safety and comfort guarantee with many spare tower keep you safe. Food and drink for stay provide and any question I try answer in message. Bring only most essential thing, for refuge permitted only enter system in shuttle but will have many safety for you.

I've heard words about evacuation. Now call me optimistic but even Seyllin only roasted its orbiting planets. We can't reach the star we can't even get close, the effects may not even reach us. Are we planning evacs? If so, why?

Much big thanks for sweet words. For me is most big responsibility to oversee alliance while sisters away. A little intimidate but try do best for family. The self-proclaimed 'star committee' as I've called it, has decided to shut down the evac efforts, and we're focusing more on scientific study than anything else. As of now, we're analyzing the data that my probe sent back, and are still trying to unscramble most of it, as the signal isn't clear, as you can guess, video's out of the question for now.

looks like a rather large explosion tbh cause at the beginning u see a dimmer version then a huge spike in brightness then u see the brightness go down and the overall + shape get bigger as well as the rest of it but not as bright

It may also be possible, that the Nation is able to start Incursions within the isolated UUA-F4 Region where W477-P is located.
Only a theory but if Sanshas are able to reach those isolated Region, maybe this is the reason why they have more intel about this phenomenon. And if there are direct links between some Incursionareas, this may be the reason why the Nation don't use these wormholes and risk their whole fleet to an star which is about to explode.

Also i think, a large Controll Tower with massive Thermal and EM-hardeners may be able to resist a radiation and plasmastorm from a hypernova a few lightyears away. So if you are located near W477-P this may be a possible hideout.

Well, we're currently working on a theory, which I won't disclose at this time, and believe we have something that does include most of the available data, and in fact requires that to function correctly.

I still haven't been able to clear-up the data on the probe, but, I have determined that it may not be a core collapse supernova, I'm working to clear up the interference.

The reason I post this is because the conjecture at the time was that nation forces were staging from a Jove station. It is also certain that they have some way of using wormholes (whether natural or man-made is still debatable) to their advantage.

I still feel that the sudden notice of Nation forces moving strangely at the same time as odd sleeper behavior and now this strange luminary phenomenon is too coincidental to ignore.

As far as a way to pin-point the location of said luminary phenomenon, using the newly installed compass should help to a significant degree. But I think research up to this point is fairly accurate on that regard.

The station visible in the camera drone was later confirmed to be in the 3-CE1R system. According to Task Force Ishaeka - so I advise we take this with a shot of something strong - the system was evacuated six months later and the vault was secure. (Link)

As to the issue of wormhole use, it has been confirmed that the wormholes are artificially-generated. There are either one or two of these devices in existence. I trust this information is helpful, pilot.
