I hate the thing that I lost all placement of all the windows and colors of UI.
Can u even imaging how long it took me to make perfect placements of all the windows in EVE on all 4 of my accounts Sad

TL;DR:

  1. Scanner Filter for Cosmic Signature did not update properly. All sub-types should be checked when updating filters that had Cosmic Signature checked.
  2. When using Corp Locations open in its own window, dragging Locations from personal into the Corp window does not update the Corp window without collapsing the sub-group in the Corp window or closing and re-opening the Corp locations window entirely.
  3. Consider setting the default action of dragging Locations from Personal (in People & Places window) to Corp (when opened in its own window) be Move, instead of Copy. But allow Copy when Shift is pressed, as we are all used to doing from the old Bookmark system.

Signatures were disappearing from my Scanner list once the probes were close enough to identify their type (Grav/Ladar/Radar/Mag/Unknown). The solution was easy, but not really what it should have been. I have filters set to show Cosmic Signatures, which previously only had 1 sub item.... Cosmic Signatures. Now, each type of Cosmic Signature is listed, but after the update, the filter did not auto-check all of the sub-types. So as I scanned closer to the sig, the type was changed to Grav or Unknown or whatever and then the signature winked out. Switching to Show All made them appear. The update "should" have checked all sub-types of Cosmic Signatures for filters with the original Cosmic Signature box checked. This way, their existing filter functions the same as before the update. Also, the Item Count on the Cosmic Signature group in the Scanner Filter Editor shows [1] instead of [5].

Having some issues with Corp Locations too. When I have the Corp Location window open (right-click -> Open Group Window), I can drag and drop Locations from the People & Places window. However, when I drop a Location into the Corp Location window, the new Location is not instantly visible. For example, I have a sub-folder in Corp locations (call it Anomalies). I expand the Anomalies folder in Corp Locations window and it shows "No Item". If I drop a Location into that Anomalies folder, it still shows No Item and the item count in brackets [0] does not change to [1]. If I collapse and expand that sub-folder, the new location appears, but the item count is still [0]. Closing and re-opening the Corp locations window fixes both. But it would be nice if they updated when dropping a new Location into the separate window.

Speaking of "would be nice", it would be nice to allow us to create a Location directly into the Corp Location folder instead of only choosing from our Personal Location folders. Also, when we drag and drop from Personal to Corp locations, it leaves a copy behind. Many times (for WH dwellers, probably all the time ) we will not want a duplicate copy of the Corp location in our personal location. Which forces us to go back and delete the original after putting it into the Corp folder. Perhaps the default should be Move as it was before when taking BM's from Places, but allow Copy by holding Shift?

I like the idea of rescaling the UI, but the font style is just not working for this. For windows to be the size I like I set it at 90% but then the font is too small on tabs and buttons. Especially the numbers are a problem Cry

And I miss the option to pin windows...

I'm assuming that the drone recall command occurs when your ship starts to align for the warp out. I am hoping that is the case so that until your ship starts its warp process (needing to be un-disrupted) your drones will keep fighting for you.

It would be nice if you could select.

Windows pinning does not work anymore. They are not longer "pinned" when you pin them.

Sorry CCP but for a paid service a proper UAT and QA system is not optional. This includes ALL paying clients, whatever their chosen hardware.

I played around 5-6 hours testing the new changes,. you did a good job CCP :). Hope to see more expansions / updates like this one in the future.

Just for starters, I'm loving the starfields, the gate alignments, the shots visibly missing my ship, the new warp tunnel effect, the new raven skin, the nebulae, the addition of new BCs, the destroyer buff, new move-to-and-loot/jump functionality... just... lots to love here!

So, no. No answer on a reasoning for this out of the blue change. Been around many years now, and this seems to be one of those kinds of things that nearly always comes up with an expansion. Those few "WTF??!!! Where did THAT come from" kind of things.

The new font is a little uncomfortable to read at times. Numbers seem crowded together. Commas and periods are difficult to distinguish.

A small annoying thing I noticed is that the targeting reticle continues to display the locking-targeting-animation even after the target has become locked.

Most excellent patch!!! Party on CCP!!!!!!!! When are you guys coming to Las Vegas again?!?

The Items window in every station has to be re-opened on every docking, even for stations already visited. As a primary miner alt, this is really frustrating.

A clearance of the cache files seemed to sort the items window problem, just in case anyone else encountered same issue...

Not the first time that happens on an update, it'll be a few days and someone will remember to zip their pants up at CCP.

At least it works for someone, I guess then that I will d/l the ******* game again, as the patch corrupted my files, then had pointless sex with the POS repair never worked feature for several hours.

Now, if the game downloads in just 20 minutes my machine will have only spent 10 hours and god knows how much bandwidth to get this game running again.

No more credit card action for you CCP, it's isk/plex from now on, cash money is for value added service.
