Question about Focused Warp Disruption Script

From what I understand, this script prevents warp regardless of warp core stabs or warp strength, but doesn't have an effect on AB, MWD, or MJD. However, in the attributes tab, it says "Modification of Afterburner and Microwarpdrive Thrust Bonus -100%, Modification of Afterburner and Microwarpdrive Maximum Velocity Bonus -100%". So my question is this: what exactly do these modifiers mean/do? To me, it sounds like it basically disables ABs and MWDs, but one of my buddies says that he's had people use a MWD while he's had them pointed with this script.

It also says in the attributes tab, "Modification of Signature Radius Bonus -100%", which sounds to me like it makes it more difficult to get a lock on the target. But that can't be right, because wouldn't a 100% reduction in sig radius make it impossible for other ships to lock the target once the module running this script is activated?

Basically, I'm fairly certain that I'm vastly misunderstanding how this script works. Can someone please clarify for me? Thanks.

I believe those are effects that apply themselves to you, not the target your are warp disrupting.

(I have not used this before personally)

No, they don't affect the person who is doing the pointing. I've never used this script/mod before, but I've been in fleet plenty of times with someone who was using it, and it has no effect on the user.

Well, since someone who is using the script cannot be targetted to apply reps etc, then it would seem very plausible they do in fact affect the person using the script.

Alas, what is two people who haven't used it before disagreeing going to accomplish? I'll bow out and hope for an experienced user to better answer your questions.

These are infact the negative effects applied to the ship running the module.

Confirming this. I fly HICs.

The focused warp disruption script actually removes these penalties from the module. So basically the warp disruption field generator kills your prop mod and blooms your sig when in bubble mode but not when in infini point mode. However it prevents you from receiving reps in both modes.

Look at the side effects of the module then look at the script. It will make more sense.

Ah. I see now. I had thought that the script didn't effect the ship running it because that's what my friend had told me. Perhaps I misunderstood him. I suppose that's what I get for not taking the time to look at the attributes of the module that runs the script. :P Thanks for clarifying, guys.
