I've been playing eve on and off for the last 5 years. I've been in a couple null sec corps but never really did anything but fleets, been in and out of RVB, FW and a couple pirate corps.

I've decided to make my game play a little bit more enjoyable I'd go to null sec at least three times a week solo for fun.

I got my first two null sec solo kills today and it was ******* glorious.

That is all.

Well I've been in RVB for awhile now so I'm used to losing ships and can't really say I get the "shakes" very often, that's just what we do in RVB.

I've been watching a lot of YouTube about separating ships/baiting and just happened to jump into a system with two interceptors that engaged me, then a third popped up in a cloaky proteus...

I burned back to gate but all three engaged me, so I waited on the other side. Proteous and one of the interceptors engaged I jump and just like I had hoped the third engaged I make pretty short work of him in my ruppy and warp away.

Well they start chasing me so I make a few sages off the gates and try the bait and jump thing, doesn't work this time I get webbed by an interceptor and I know the Proteus is going to engaged to. Now on a side note I'm not that knowledgable on t3 pvp fits or anything bigger than a cruiser for that matter so before I jumped the gate I asked some corp mates how a prot might be fit guns/scram/web etc. My corp mates said prob not a web and blaster, ok so I need to stay away from him.

So back to the interceptor having me webbed, the prot jumps in I'm about 5k off the gate the prot engages and webs me...then try's and bumps me off the gate, to late I made it! I know I got one min but the pilot on my side is the same one I popped before so he quickly jumps, we play cat and mouse a couple times nothing comes of it until the prot engages me by himself, I jump....

Both interceptor pilots are on me one short point one long point, I set my drones on theong point one and get him in hull before he warps away, I'm happy. I then then my attention to the one within neut range, I quickly set everything upon him and he pretty much exploded right away so fast in fact I thought he warped away....

They reshipped continued to chase me for about another 20mins then I see good fights on local and I go my way.

It was one of he most rewarding thing I've done in eve and it was an amazing feeling.

Really? I still get the shakes whenever I'm soloing in lowsec even with tons of fights in FW.

True story, maybe it's because Ive come to understanding that's it's just ships that can be replaced, or maybe it's bc I've lost two snake pods...one in null and one in low sec...other than that I really don't fly stuff that isn't easily replaceable. Don't get me wrong I get excited when a fight happens, just not overly "omg" effect that I used to get when I get in a tuffle, and I always say GFs in local just to show my appreciation, win or lose.

*Update*

I've been out solo several times now, I've gotten one more solo kill. Lost my ship this time!

Went out with some corp mates early this morning and died in a ball of fire, was a good time.

I'm hooked.

Awesome :-)

Gang fights don't get my heartrate up much anymore - but solo fights in null still get me shaking!

I find that losing is pretty much as much fun as winning, most of the time. Maybe a bit more expensive :-P It's the fight that counts!

Flying solo in null or lowsec is still the biggest buzz for myself in eve. Now don't get me wrong I love the social aspects of eve but nothing really comes close to going solo vs a gang and coming out on top. Sure you probably die more times than you survive but its worth it for that 1 moment when the last ship dies or they run off with tails between legs.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;

Sometimes just surviving a 1-v-many fight is a big rush, at least for me.

I've been going out a lot by myself and losing tons of ships! I've used the vexor navy issue a few time got some nice kills and even died to a gila trying to slow boat it back to the gate haha!

It's a lot of fun even made a couple other pilots solo and we deleted up and busted a camp! Thought they where going to tank me but they honored their fleet!

One of the best experiences I've had so far came when I was in deep null flying my rupture. I just killed a condor when 7 stealth bombers and a legion uncloaked I was aligned and warped instantly. I came back a little bit later and engaged a inceptor and they all got me this time. What came next was awesome and why I love eve.

I got my pod out but decided I wanted pod express and I said this in local they said what gate they where on so I warped back. They old me GF in local and said I should have more than enough isk to come back, confused I checked my wallet and 5 of the pilots donated me isk one donation for 50mil, 20mil,5mil,2mil and 1 mil isk...I was blown away! I asked why and they said bc I didn't bring an interceptor lol

It was awesome and they where goons...isn't that some good PR!

Fly safe all I'm going back out!
