A normal piece of advice is not to fly a ship you can't afford to lose. Now, I know money can be tight early on, but I'm still curious as to how you lost everything - the career agent missions alone give enough loot for a stack of T1 explorers.

I were you, I wouldn't go mining (I'd rather grind L1 distros than mine, but that's just me) but try and get back into another explorer.
