I was thinking of a Auto Pilot timer that can give you an estimated time on your arrival of your destination. Much like a cars GPS :)

I hope this is correct but the equation would be if your burning through gates would be

Current System Jump(Gate to gate) / Ships Warp Speed + (Ship Accelleartion to warp + Slow Down from warp) + Sessions Change Time

I saw a previous post on this but it was very small.

I thought it would be neat because I'm horrible at giving time estimates when people are wanting a time.

It's not an automatic Auto pilot timer that your are describing, more likey an "Auto-pilot route time calculator or estimate arrival "

As you say like what GPS give you.

But you have to add the possibility of traffic jam, like when Jita is blocked due to to much traffic.

Math for this should be pretty easy, even for an active flying route. It should be able to tell me how long it should take in the ship I am in. Based on me going as fast as I can. Or atleast an idication.

This would be pretty interesting. I'd be keen to see it implemented just to have nifty extra information, like the auto pilot route in space.
