EFT warrioring away I fit a Capital Shield Booster to a Maelstrom...

I remember you used to be able to fit a single capital weapon to I believe it was an Abaddon... then they fixed it so you couldn't do that any more. But what about the shield booster?

It does not. You won't be able to undock with it fitted.

I guess the capital weapon wasnt intended to be fit because it appears visually on your ship and its not supposed to happen. The capital booster is not visible so it should work maybe?

I repeat. You cannot undock a subcapital ship with a capital module fitted. End of story.

IIRC this was done to stop people fitting multiple (obviously offlined) cap mods on destroyers and using carriers to transport the "compressed" parts.

There's also the restriction which prohibits you from fitting any module to your ship which consumes more than twice your maximum powergrid or CPU.
