So hostages get killed. This should cow anyone? The fault lies with the respective murderers, whether they feel provoked or not. I have no hound in this race. I am just bored by their lack of vigor and scale.

I don't know if I should be appaled by this line of thought, or acknowlage that it is the norm for capusleers. So I'm going to do both.

The fact is that if you allow hostage taking to affect your actions then you are both making hostage taking a viable action and neutering your operations. The only course of actions is to be careful that whatever you do that triggers the death of the hostages is worthwhile and hunt hostage takers with extreme prejudice.

What would concern me if I was Minmatar wouldn't so much be Mizhara's refusal to be bound by hostage taking as her total lack of empathy with the hostages.

Annnnnd.... We're back to discussing pathology again...

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I was refering more to her appearent desire for escalation.

I'm clearly clutching for straws on this one, but would it be possible this guys working with naupulis in some attempt to make us look bad? I mean he isn't exactly a friend of Amar, so killing them wouldn't bother him, and making up some excuse to label us a "sub human race" would only help him. Just a thought.

This in no way makes us look bad. An Ammarian killing Ammarians has little to do with us.

While yes its expected this guy is Amarian, You don't see how actions being done in our name shines a negative light on us? What they do to themselves isn't my concern, nor does it fueling someone frothing at the mouth to commit retaliation (I don't exactly like the outcome, he would do it whether this happened or not, he has before). Just because we don't see it that way doesn't they won't.

Worse, the guy appears to be Amarrian himself. Or at least a naturalised slave within the Empire - so we certainly can't discount the possibility that this is a false-flag action meant to make the Minmatar look bad.

Mr. Tuulinen and Ms. Vess,

Respectfully, the monster in question has yet to identify himself or his origin. There is no more basis to contend he is an insane Amarr than to contend that his large frame and his initial comments about the Caldari alliance complaining that "The Empire has thrown its lot in with the Caldari State and its perpetual war" might even suggest he is a insane Civre with an ax to grind.

In all events, by his deeds, if he was Amarr, he is no longer and I expect his name would be stricken from the Book of Records. I also question the veracity of these "accounts". Concord's control over clones is all but sacrosanct. I certainly will lose no sleep over him and his purported claims.

anyone who would look upon us poorly for this mans actions must have an increadably narrow mind to draw the conclution that we are at fault in any way. I can't say I give a damn about the opinions of those kind of people.

Vengeance, Part II

God is glorified in the destruction of the Minmatar. And at this very moment, 10,000 filthy Minmatar subhumans are glorifying God in their destruction throughout low-sec Devoid. Packed into Mobile Depots mockingly labelled "Starving Slaves", filled to capacity. No food. Only a pittance of Vitoc. No relief, and no escape. And you know how I stuff my slaves with only the most virulent, agonizing strains of vitoxin I can find.

And for good measure, I threw in a few odd Exotic Dancers, Tourists and Janitors snatched over the last few months from the wreckage of Sansha Pleasure Hubs I had destroyed; in life, I abused them as I would the lowest slave, and in death they, too, shall glorify God in their destruction.

In a week or two, I'll make the rounds, open up the Depots, and see what is left. I'm sure the sight will glorify God.

Wishful thinking or not this is most likely going to escalate, does this mystery man have a reason to stop? Would Naup ever stop? Didn't think so. Now I guess the waiting game begins.

Ugh
