Where the fu*k you get this kind of information? Is there some forum thread where people say "hey i just spent 1k $ buying tons of iskies!"?

Someone who does the RMT got their logs leaked. It was all over the internet including the 'old' forums. The highest group of transactions by one person was 6k. There were several over 1000.

1. Who do you think spends more, and why?

I don't care at all but seems null sec is more about people having lots of free time for whatever reason I don't care either, this makes me think High sec players spend more real cash than null sec moon goo dealers.

2. Do you think that group will have and retain CCP's focus?

See my answer above: clearly doesn't and shouldn't, has none of those you've just set has being "one" or "the other" should.
Makes a lot of time I'm not naïve any more so somehow yes I think one of those retains more attention from CCP or makes sort that CCP has to react in a certain direction.

I think a lot of 9 to 5 rs with families are very likely to

- not have extra disposable income for however much they make there are always opptunities like camps or tutoring or clothing, or fees and equipment for sports teams that they'd like to have extra money to spend for them --- of course they will ejnoy some of the money they make on their own luxurires but if it comes to saving $15 bucks and getting blown up in a black bird or sabre instead of a rohk or a phobos, they probably will chose the money for their kids first

- lots of people i've met in game with regular jobs and familes particularly ENJOY making isk ... far from being a grind it is a big part of the escapist pleasure making Billions and Billions...even if the promotions and or big money clients are alluding them, they can take a bit of pleasure getting filthy rich in game like they'd have hoped they would in real life but learned as they matured that a stable job that will put a good roof over their families head and will provide them health insurance is something to be proud of and that the opportunities and risks to pull for more don't seem like high odds bets at their place and time. Still, they can enjoy getting wealthier each night in game., being major finaciers or industrialists and enjoy that fantasy and fantasy is what these games are largely about.

Sweeping statements don't work though.. there are plenty with larger disposable income who don't like making isk and those might by plex while other working people enjoy the isk making process as i described above.

Highsec dwellers are the hamsters who are running this game. Don't blame CCP for feeding them.

Lot's of truth and reality in this post.

There are probably a lot of casual players who remain in HiSec due to actually having a RL.

Nothing clever at this time.

I don't have a lot of anecdotal experience to comment with either way, but my guess would be null-sec players who are really into PvP. PvP is an emotionally involved experience and when it comes to such an intimate relationship with anything, money gets a whole lot easier to spend.

Why nullsec specifically instead of PvPers in general... either you pay for an alt to manage safe income or you're trapped with the need to make a decision. So, territorialism takes effect and that's doubly involved.
