On a more serious note, I fully support Marmite on this. CODE has lost its way. It has become nothing more than a plaything of Loyalanon to advance his own self serving agenda, and the time has come to rid ourselves of this stain on highsec.

Not sure what/who exactly you considered as 'stain' in your post. If you meant the CODE leadership blah blah, I agree with you. If you meant the gank gameplay itself, I strongly disagree.

Bad leaders come and go, but suicide ganking will hopefully always exist to an extent in Highsec, be it CODE., Miniluv, Ammzi's Catalyst fleets or Aedaric's bot-aspirant Talos fleet etc etc... Blink

Be the change you want to see in Highsec.

I suggest all members from The Conference Elite join another CODE corp asap, before it get's kicked from alliance. Its easier to do it now, then when they are out of the alliance.

That mail posted "apparently" from Loyal is a complete fabrication, in fact on a second reading... seriously what the hell? Where the heck are you getting this from? I've not seen anything like this from him at all. I'd appreciate a copy of the mail posted here screen shotted with a link to some out of game site to read. I doubt it will be forthcoming at all. It'd be easy for me to just write down that you called your entire alliance "a bunch of idiots who you are going to scam" in a private mail. Though I wouldn't expect a single person to believe it. If your going to war dec somebody it's fine, but don't talk rubbish and make stuff up about them. You just lose respect.

As for war decs? Well they don't really stop the bread and butter of Codes work really, we are always shootable and losing a catalyst hardly hurts the wallets etc. We were planning on losing the cata anyway. Oh well. GF to all.

This saddens me (and I'll be changing my avatar to reflect how very sad I am soon). This emoticon Sad does not even begin to express how upset I am.

I had invited quite a few marmitians to board my friend-ship. I lowered my shields and spread my nacelles to make room for their crafts. And now this. Betrayal of the worst kind. Instead of a good time aboard the friend-ship I feel bullied and tortured.

Still. We are grown-ups. This is not a war between whiny carebears. It is a war between two honourable and respected EvE organisations with proud histories and a shared goal of improving this game. May a good time be had by all, and may there be many explosions all round. I fully expect you lot to take this seriously. I want to lose some ships to war-targets (for once).

The mail in question is not a fabrication but is most assuredly out of context. Tora extrapolated on the mail to try to determine Loyal's objectives, and failed miserably. Also, I am removing one of my earlier posts in light of more recent information.

Nope, that was retaliatory on our part. This is all over some marmite dude having his settings wrong and shooting at a Code pilot. I guess Tora figured it was apologise for their guy's derp or wardec us.

So this is actually a bit tricky in that a very large portion of CODE. is criminal anyway. The majority aren't going to notice any difference unless Marmite decides to start running antiganking operations.
