Regarding some recent info i collected about the Circadian Seeker change, I updated my article on it: 'Circadian Seekers retaliate!'

Main things are the change in behaviour by the Seekers since Proteus, listed below:

-Seekers defend themselves now
-In case the aggressor flees, Seekers pursue him relentlessly until he leaves system or docks. returning too soon to the system or undocking too fast will cause the Seekers to re-initiate the attack on you. They do have a 60 second interval before they warp to you tho.
-Seekers pod people! (if you give them the time, damage is low on pod & they don't disrupt your warp)
-They might disrupt drone targeting, making it hard to keep all your drones on the same target (Behaviour not consistent)
-Seekers call reinforcements when the first group is destroyed (second wave of 5 seekers)

Will do my best to stay on top of these new developments, if you spot anything new/odd don't hesitate to inform people!

Great info, I just fought five of them in a Raven Battleship and had to dock up.

Micro jumped from them and they got back into hit range with in 20 seconds. They can hit you from at least 90K.

Partial log of fight

I kill them in cruisers... How was you Raven fitted?...

They're using large turrets (0.04 rad/sec) and heavy missiles- so in your cruiser you'd probably be getting well under half the DPS (>500 total), and a BS would take the brunt.

Seekers have now had their first POS kill.....https://zkillboard.com/kill/44056636/

They did have help, but looks like they can just grind through, all they need is time.

If they get an additional dps buff next upgrade things are going to become very interesting...time to recheck the POS aggression settings Twisted

I noticed yesterday in arnon the seekers were hanging around the soe station off and on all day. I dont know if it was because people killing them constantly and they were reinforcing or they have a special interest in the sisters themselves.

I really REALLY hope ccp does something cool with these things and not just use them as space janitors for all the long lost offline structures scattered throughout the universe.

They did had help, but they still did almost half the damage. Interesting times are ahead of us!

Ive honestly been so excited searching for all this new stuff I nearly missed work.

Lots of weird new sounds on sisi when near seekers and their structures.

New Unidentified wormholes in K space, (new to me anyway) with Sleeper thermoelectric converters around the wormhole. After sitting at wormhole for a few mins the seekers warped in to me and began approaching me.

Trying to use all types of e war etc on the site to attempt effecting it.

Found a mysterious probe.

Rajeet Achmar > "Despite its familiar construction, this ancient probe is made from materials and electronics unlike anything you've ever seen in New Eden. It floats silently through space, seemingly dormant."

Rajeet Achmar > The probe establishes a remote communications channel with your ship, then transmits a single ‘beep' noise.

I smartbombed it and the remote comm message came up.

bassie12bf1 > Drifter Battleship (found in mesybier)

"The design of this Sleeper drone echoes what is believed to be the very earliest Sleeper Starships, suggesting it was perhaps constructed during that period too. Contrasting with its possible age is the unspoiled condition of its armor, suggesting that if it is indeed as ancient as its designers, it has only very recently been put into service. "

Pilot of battleship was apparently: Heretic Soldier, who's description was: "The different branches of Jovians that exist are not the result of variations in geographical or climatic differences, but rather that of genetic engineering through the centuries. The Modifiers are the enthusiasts of the Jovian family. They are curious and constantly willing to try or experience something new and fresh. Modifiers have lower life expectancy that other Jovians and are more susceptible to the dreaded Jovian Disease. It seems that by constantly living on the edge makes them burn out faster."

Woah. I can't get onto sisi right now, but would you mind putting both of those into a mail and sending me the links? (on sisi)

Roaming Sleeper Battleships on the way?

And that's the description from the 'Modifier' bloodline of the Jovians- Veniel had the same description before he was doomheim'd.

I need my laptop to come so i can get on SISI again and see all of this as it unfolds X

I'm curious, has anybody checked up on the k-space shattered systems? Just speculation, but maybe since the shattered systems were created by the wormholes and/or sleepers they have something to do with all of this?

This is a signature.

It has a 25m signature.

No it's not a cosmic signature.

Probably.

Btw my corp's recruiting.

Oh that's cool.

"Unidentified" wormhole, eh? Not "Unstable"? I may or may not like where this is going.....

Later tonight I will continue my exploration on rajeet and jimmies and make an expedition to thera which is where the unidentified wormhole is supposed to lead.

I spent some quality time on Sisi tonight to watch and document. Findings on Reddit here:

http://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/2tcp3x/roaming_sleepers_on_sisi_are_getting_new_toys/cny0zwz

TLDR:

  • The site despawned at downtime
  • I found a new one in Iyen-Oursta
  • 4 Seekers spawned, scanned, warped out, warped back
  • When they warped back, two Drifter Battleships spawned and began escorting the Seekers on warps

So ... our Seeker friends now have a bit more armament accompanying.

Interesting side notes:

  • There was no Unidentified Structure in system, just an Unidentified Wormhole.
  • In both systems, the beacon was WAY at the outer edge of the system, unlike signatures which are generally <4AU from a celestial.

There's a new JOVE BATTLESHIP in the SISI files!

Not sleeper (this isn't a drone), a Jovian ship. It has a "pilot": a Jovian, as far as CONCORD sees it.

This ship is ancient, from the description here, so it seems to be a ship that is both sleeper and Jovian together, from the era in which they split off and the Architects made their home in Anoikis. The Sleepers are, physically, Jovian.

And they are waking up.

It would be cool if the ships would replenish the things they shoot from the capsuleer market ;)...

Only one Unidentified Structure that I could find today on SISI few jumps from Jita didnt had gas/little nebula around it anymore.

Cloak is still there like before.

No Seekers, I waited 5 minutes.

No luck in finding Unidentified Wormhole yet.

Someone posted a video of that sleeper takedown of a POS, or what was said afterwards.

I just saw something I'm not sure has been put on the table yet. I went to an unidentified structure and was following the sleepers that I had found there around. Now, nothing sooper major happened, however, I realized the sleepers were scanning the unidentified structure!

Although the sleepers only appear in systems with the unidentified structure are we wrong in assuming that that is their base, and not merely the primary object of interest of the sleepers? Could it not be that the sleepers are in the systems with the unidentified structures simply because they too have not seen such a thing before? If I am wrong, and the unidentified structures really are their bases, what need do they have to study their own structures?

Description is just a stub (entity was copied from sleeper, then modified) so speculation about "ancient" is irrelevant until we see the new one.

Well the structures were called "cloaked Jove outpost" in the dev blog where they were mentioned, but that was changed in minutes... Blink
