Regarding some recent info i collected about the Circadian Seeker change, I updated my article on it: 'Circadian Seekers retaliate!'

Main things are the change in behaviour by the Seekers since Proteus, listed below:

-Seekers defend themselves now
-In case the aggressor flees, Seekers pursue him relentlessly until he leaves system or docks. returning too soon to the system or undocking too fast will cause the Seekers to re-initiate the attack on you. They do have a 60 second interval before they warp to you tho.
-Seekers pod people! (if you give them the time, damage is low on pod & they don't disrupt your warp)
-They might disrupt drone targeting, making it hard to keep all your drones on the same target (Behaviour not consistent)
-Seekers call reinforcements when the first group is destroyed (second wave of 5 seekers)

Will do my best to stay on top of these new developments, if you spot anything new/odd don't hesitate to inform people!

It gets better, not only can Seekers scan cloaked ships, they can now pursue cloaked ships in warp! No fleeing the battle if you notice you can't handle it!

Edit: New info! Looks like sleepers got another new behaviour! They call for reinforcements (second wave) if their initial group is destroyed!
Looks like they're gearing up for a more direct conflict!

So...seekers are the antidote to AFK players...

I like that. I like that a lot!

At the very least I think they may be the antidote to AFK players who wander off leaving drones on aggressive, it's a start.

I've been reading a lot of the forums and other posts, and now i present to you, my theory:

It all starts with The Other (well known for residing within the Amarr empress).

The other has a plan.

First it took over the construct. He took over the Sleepers and their drones. It has taken a long time, but while and after he took over the sleeper he used the drones to scout known space. He let them build bases (the ones we can now find by scanning them out) for a unknown reason. Now we are seeing Sleepers in know space, I've no idea if it's intended or just a failing of technology, but what we do know is that the Sleepers in know space have shields. So they do try to get stronger.

I think this is a ruse of The Other to scare people OR to show them of as the saviors of the masses by scaring off and killing the Sansha. I'm not to sure about this part.

Now to the really interesting part.

The Other used the empress to start with the implants for normal people (the ones used by the soldiers in Dust 514). I think this was a test, to see how the normal people would react, how the implants behaved and if The Other could take over those soldiers.

I'm thinking that The Other would like to take over a lot more then only the Sleepers and the empress. So he's probably going to spread the implants to the normal people with the promise that they can be like the Capsuleers or help fight the Sansha/Sleepers with it.

Then when everyone (or at least a big part of the eve population) has an implant he takes them over and makes them his slaves. Just like he did with the Sleepers and the Sleeper drones.

The Jovian probably noticed the plans and tried something, Whether they are cowards who blew up a star to isolate them from the rest of eve, they tried to build/test a powerful weapon I do not know. It might even be possible that the sleepers (on orders of The Other) attacked the Jovian.

(There is also a small possibility that the Jovian exploded something just so the cloaks in known space would start to fail, so they could warn the empires and the Capsuleers of the oncoming danger.)

As far as the Thera incident, sisters of eve and the opening of wormholes: They are not connected to The Other. They merely forced The Other to react faster than he anticipated.

What if

Sansha k. is another embodiment of The Other and the Sleepers we are seeing now are the True Sleepers that managed to escape his grip and now are coming back with a vengeance to wipe him out? Maybe The Other has been isolated somehow.
The Sansha hive-mind is reminiscent of The Construct so there might be a similarity there.

Great info, I just fought five of them in a Raven Battleship and had to dock up.

Micro jumped from them and they got back into hit range with in 20 seconds. They can hit you from at least 90K.

Following a watch of the latest o7 show ( slightly drunk i will admit), i had to rewatch a section......specificaly the bit about the Pre Fanfest Pub Crawl live event.....this year its something different...not chessboxing or something else out of game...its a ingame event......I sepculate that its caused by 'carolines star / nebula '....which has altered some planetary orbits?...the event promised seems to me to be a planetary collision. Roll

If planets aren't safe, is your outpost? Is Jita 4/4?...what if the collison is Jita 4? Ohh the tearsBig smile

CS (cikardian seeker) got like 725GJ of cap, if you drain them with neuts they still keep their speed and everything else
also they use some pandemorium missiles or how was it called i dont remember corectly + they do dmg with something else as well not only the missiles... guns maybe but no effect of shooting cant be seen or any other guns on the CS hull except the launcher though
they do em/therm dmg 50/50

Okay, just to update - Circadians actually have a true DPS of over 500 if applied correctly. They have heavy missiles and battleship-size turrets. Interesting - I wonder what's going to happen next Smile
