Played around a bit with filters but it didn't get much better. This is about the best result I could get.

Ok, so now we know two locations of these structures: Aeter system in Solitude and Hasama system in Citadel.... Any more of these? Maybe something interesting about the systems themselves? Or their stars? (Seyllin Incident!)

Well, IIRC, Aeter is famous for being technically the largest system in k-space. Not as in the maximum distance between celestials (I believe there are systems around X7 that have longer warps), but as in having a planet with the highest orbit (about 121 AU).

As for the star, it shows as K3. Spectral class K2 IV.

Hasama,on the other hand, has a different star and is pretty small. While Aeter is in a backwater deadend lowsec island, Hasama is a pipe system between 2 regions.

I don't think the systems themselves have much significance, though it would probably be wise to check other faction lows for these, uhh, obelisks.

We know from the Seyllin incident that caches of isogen-5 have been hidden around New Eden and that the disaster was caused by several of these hidden caches exploding at the L1 legrange point between several Type O1 stars and Planet 1 in the system. But there's nothing to say there aren't more caches in other star systems with different stars entirely, and if there are then they're likely cloaked. That unidentified structure looks awfully like it's got a malfunctioning cloaking device, which draws a parallel with how the Amarr Empress found the Terran superweapon in a facility hidden by a Jovian cloaking device that happened to fail.

If I had to make an educated guess, I'd say these structures are either Jove Isogen-5 caches or covert Sleeper structures that are only now coming to life. Either option is exciting and pushes the core storyline forward.
EDIT: Or it could just be a christmas event thing and we're blowing it out of proportion :D

Augnais / Algintal / Sinq Laison

Balle / Disier / Sinq Laison

Dousivitte / Agiesson / Sinq Laison

Cherore / Chasnaye / Everyshore

Marosier / Ysiette / Everyshore

So yes, they are present many places.

Okay, so these things are actually fairly common Shocked Wonder what they are? And if they are ancient constructs only now appearing (with a failing cloak device) because of interference with something (the bright star aftermath?)

I'm in class right now and this is killing me. I won't be home for several hours still. Do they react to proximity at all? have you tried smartbombing the structure, etc.

...bring different ships to it, activate every type of module you can fit in eve, in close proximity, etc. ?

Bumping in covops does nothing thats for sure. Was thinking of smartbombing or ECM bursting it, but went on exploring wormholes. What other AoE means to interact with a non-targetable thing are there?

You could try spawning CONCORD near it by sacrificing a miner.

I was wrong, it's targetable. But its an LCO so I think its invulnerable, and doubt any other non-weapon mod would affect it.

I would not be schocked if there are actually 13 of those structures. Like in 13 Yule lads.

Combat drones cant lock it or cant engage for some other reason, like cloak or stealth. Mining drones dont dig it cause its not an asteroid. Salvage drones cant salvage non-wreck object. E-war drones sit idle too, cant lock. Smartbombs do nothing. Laser turrets hit for 0 damage. Cant use large neut yet, 5x t2 mediums in a Curse dont suck enough to affect it, if even possible to neut it at all.

Hmm... Dont know what else to try.
