I've had this problem since the store was introduced. The work-around that was mentioned in the issues page (a while back) suggested to run eve.exe in the bin directory (not evefile.exe), this will start the launcher and should fix the issue, it fixed it for me anyway. Apparently it something to do with setting some secure token or sthn. Only problem is I keep having to do this after each patch which is a nuisance. Seems only to affect a small number of people as well.

My understanding is it will affect anyone that doesn't use the launcher (i.e. everyone using evefile.exe) as the launcher sets the token for the store.

I've been somewhat hit and miss on this problem though I haven't had any issues at all since about the time Kronos was released.

IF anybody's sat on that Aurum for four years...waiting for the chance to CRASH the market...ooooh.... Hold that thought.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

It affects people who always use the launcher, like me :)

So to re-iterate, even though I always use the launcher I still have to use the method above after each patch to access the store. Well, tbh I haven't bothered for a few weeks as I'm a creature of habit, but I'll check later and see if it's still a problem.

How on Earth do you get a different result by running the launcher from running the launcher (eve.exe is the launcher) Shocked

I suggest donating that ISK to a worthy cause, such as your local suicide ganker.

I bought a new coat and boots for Remiel. Never needed Aurum since.
