I looked around and I now it says ctrl - F9 to hide the UI but it isn't working for me, I'm on a mac if that matters, command F9 isn't working either. My keyboard is fine.

Thanks

Are the other F-keys working? Laptop keyboards sometimes, god knows why, have the alternate function set to work by default forcing you to press Fn to use a F-key.

Have you looked into the shortcuts listing in the game menu? IF it;s different for Mac it'd show it there, it;s one of the few un-changeable hotkeys.

Macs have alternate uses for Function keys by default, hold down "Fn" at the bottom left to make them work "normally" and then do whatever combinations you need. Also, for Macs, Ctrl (Control) can be sometimes replaced with Command.

My shortcuts listing shows ctrl - f9, I know all my keys are working cause I can use them for other stuff. My key board doesn't have a FN key, I've tried combinations with command, control, alt/option but for some reason they aren't working.

But i got it to work by changing the command. It was as if the game wouldn't recognize my f9 key cuase the game was ignoring it but I was affecting other programs on my computer. And yes I did have the EVE window selected.

But thanks for the help

Try using F9 for other hotkeys randomly, if none of them work I suggest sending CCP a bug report so they can make the Mac Client better.
