Yesterday I was traveling through WH space, mainly looking for C1-C3's so I could do the 0.0 data / relic sites. While I was passing through a system on the way to a C3, I caught something weird on my overview scanner. I managed to go back and grab a screen, but it was definitely hot in that system, so I GTFO.

Anyone know what the hell this is?

you missed out and should have looked into it.
That was a sleeper cache, they're rare and worth investigating. Haven't found one yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Oh, bummer. I didn't realize it was in a site - I just warped to planet 1 and saw the object on overview there. I thought the new sites were K-space only - I'll have to keep an eye out in WH space now.

homeworld 2 mothership? its similar shape. but it must be bug . its so large anyway nice findings

You mean the big thing occluding the sun? That's planet 1 - I wasn't able to zoom in close to the structure itself. That weird mesh overlay is the scanner panning over the window. I *think* it was a storm planet, which have weird lightning effects on their surfaces - I'm guessing that is where the weird texture comes from.

I just thought it was weird, a structure on overview at a planet when I wasn't in a site. You're probably right - it was probably an overview bug or something (though I didn't go into a sleeper site - too easy to get popped in a heron).

's what CCP said. Only inferior sites on the outskirts of higher class k-space. Mid and Superior arriving in null and WHs with Rhea.
