HELP!! CCP wont answer my ticket..

I am a focused mining alt with nearly perfect skills. I am trying to fit 'modulated strip miner II's' on my hulk but they will not go on it.
The error message i get is:

"You cannot fit the Modulated Deep Core Miner II because your ship doesn't have any turret slots left for fitting, possibly because you have already filled your ship with turrets or that the ship simply can not be fitted with turrets.

Turret slots represent how many weapons of a certain type can be fitted on a ship. The current design is over a hundred years old, and is modular enough to allow for a great leeway in the fitting of various weaponry."

Yes i have the skills, yes the slots are empty. I even repackaged the ship and tried again. I have relogged and everything else i could think of. So i ticketed CCP. Its been roughly 4 days now and no response...so i submitted yet another ticket.....no response. I had to submit a ticket on my main over a stuck drake in delivery after construction and CCP got back to me within 12 hours...

What gives? Why wont this laser fit to my ship? I cant find anything saying it cant...only that it fits to the ship...Why wont CCP answer these tickets?

Exhumers don't have turret slots.

They probably haven't stopped laughing at you yet.

MDCMs require turret hard points. Your Hulk doesn't have any of those.



You need a Modulated Strip Miner instead.

It can take CCP more than one week to get back to you.

Do not forget that CCP are quite busy getting the next patch or Expansion ready for the 9th of December 2014.

A response differing from what you expected does not make it incorrect or a troll. The answer you have been given here is correct, a hulk does not have turret slots.

you trying to fit the modulated deep core miner II on a hulk that is a fail...

you need the strip miner because the hulk don't have any turrets and normal mining lasers need a turret.

Had a similar situation with inserting the mining barge skill. I clearly had the prerequisites. Fixed it by clearing out the cashe.

Modulated strip miner 2 / modulated deep core strip miner 2 != modulated deep core miner 2

The latter requires a turret hardpoint, the others do not.

TL,DR If the mining module doesn't have the words strip miner in the name it isn't going to fit the high slots on your hulk, or any other barge/Exhumer for that matter.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
